Modern western humanism has played an active role in opposing feudalism and promoting human liberation. People-oriented refers to the broadest masses of the people. In contemporary China, workers, peasants, intellectuals and other laborers are the main bodies, including the broad masses of people from all walks of life. People-oriented is the foundation, starting point and foothold of all work. Adhere to the people-oriented, we must bear in mind the fundamental purpose of the party and always regard the fundamental interests of the overwhelming majority of the people as the highest standard in all work.
