According to the national documents, combined with the national epidemic prevention and control situation, it was decided by the leading group of graduate enrollment work in our school that in 2022, all graduate students in our school will have a remote online re-examination, and all enrollment colleges (centers) will conduct online re-examination in qualified re-examination venues according to disciplines and majors.

Second, the second interview content

(1) foreign language proficiency retest

Foreign languages (including foreign language and literature majors in English Foreign Languages Institute), with a total score of 100, organized by the Admissions Institute (Center).

(2) Re-examination of professional foundation

Full score of professional basic re-examination (skill test) 100. By the admissions colleges (centers) according to the enrollment professional directory published retest subjects.

Examination of equivalent academic ability: Candidates with equivalent academic ability who meet the basic conditions of re-examination (those who have graduated from undergraduate or junior college for two years or more) should set up an "examination of equivalent academic ability" separately, the content of which is the "examination of equivalent academic ability" published in the professional catalogue in 2022.

It can be done by oral examination, and the score is expressed as a percentage. The equivalent academic strength plus test belongs to the qualification examination and is not included in the total score. Candidates with the same academic qualifications who apply for the Master of Laws (Illegal Studies) and the Master of Tourism Management will not take the exam.

Master of Tourism Management should set up a separate "Ideological and Political Theory Examination", with a full score of 100. The exam results will be recorded in the retest results, which will be organized by the Tourism College.

(3) Professional comprehensive interview

Full score of professional comprehensive interview 100 will be arranged by the re-examination team of the Admissions College (Center).

(4) Foreign language listening and speaking test

The full score of the foreign language listening and speaking test is 100, which is arranged by the re-examination team of the Admissions College (Center).

(5) the ideological and political quality and moral assessment

The assessment of ideological and political quality and moral character is based on the principle of seeking truth from facts, and the assessment contents mainly include candidates' political attitude, ideological expression, moral quality, law-abiding, honesty and trustworthiness. Examination method: check the political examination form and carefully observe the specific performance of candidates in all aspects of the re-examination. After the professional interview, you can understand the candidates' ideological and moral situation by talking to them and asking questions. If necessary, you can write letters to the candidates' comprehensive performance in their study and work units and fill in the political opinions.

Third, the admission rules

(a) after the re-examination, the Admissions College (Center) determines the list of candidates to be admitted in batches according to the enrollment plan and the comprehensive scores of candidates from high to low and reports it to the graduate school.

Candidates' comprehensive scores are calculated according to the initial test scores of 60% and the retest scores of 40%. The calculation formula is:

1. Comprehensive score (non-master of tourism management and non-master of arts) = total score of initial test /5×60%+ foreign language ability retest × 10%+ professional basic retest (skill test) × 10%+ professional comprehensive interview × 10%+

2. Comprehensive score (Master of Tourism Management) = total score of initial test /3×60%+ foreign language ability retest × 10%+ professional basic retest (skill test) × 10%+ professional comprehensive interview × 10%+ foreign language listening and speaking test ×5%+ ideological and political theory.

3. Comprehensive score (Master of Arts) = total score of initial test /5×60%+ foreign language ability retest × 10%+ professional basic retest (skill test) × 15%+ professional comprehensive interview × 10%+ foreign language listening and speaking test × 5%;

(2) The retest score of foreign language proficiency shall not be lower than the national line of the subject, otherwise it will not be accepted.

(3) Those with a re-examination score of less than 60 on the professional basis will not be admitted.

(4) The scores of the subjects with the same academic qualifications are not included in the total score of the second interview, but those with scores below 60 will not be admitted.

(5) Those who scored less than 60 points in the comprehensive professional interview will be deemed as unqualified in the second interview and will not be accepted.

(6) Those who scored below 60 in the foreign language listening and speaking test will not be admitted.

(seven) those who fail the ideological and political quality and moral assessment will not be admitted.

(8) Those who did not participate in the second interview organized by the school will not be admitted.

(9) Candidates' retest scores shall be summarized by the Admissions College, and the comprehensive scores of candidates shall be calculated in proportion and reported to graduate department for the record. The comprehensive scores shall be sorted according to the candidates' self-selected training direction during the first-level discipline retest.

(10) Candidates are not allowed to disclose the re-examination content on any occasion or place, and it is forbidden to take screenshots, take photos or video. It is strictly forbidden to send re-examination content, interview images and other text, audio and video materials to social software or upload them to the network. Once it is found that the qualification for re-examination is cancelled, if the circumstances are serious, it will be handed over to judicial organs for handling.

(eleven) the proposed admission list is determined by the Admissions College (Center) according to the comprehensive score and enrollment plan, and then reported to graduate department for review. After the examination and approval, it will be publicized by graduate department on the website of degree and postgraduate education of Xinyang Normal University. After the final admission list is approved by the higher authorities, it will be publicized on the national postgraduate information disclosure platform of China Postgraduate Admissions Information Network.

(12) Within 3 months after admission, the leading group for postgraduate enrollment will conduct a comprehensive review of all admitted candidates according to the relevant requirements of the Regulations on the Administration of Students in Ordinary Colleges and Universities. If the review is unqualified, the student status will be cancelled; If the circumstances are serious, it shall be handed over to the relevant departments for investigation and handling.
