After asking about the difficulties in the children's family, he took out 200 yuan from himself and gave it to his adult, and immediately drove himself to Shangluo Hospital. I also called Shangluo Hospital and asked the hospital to organize the best doctors to do the operation. After all the arrangements were made, he said earnestly to the county and township cadres sitting together: "When do the people need us most? When you are in trouble. At this time, our cadres should appear in front of the masses and help them solve their difficulties. This is a party cadre. Otherwise, you are above the sufferings of the people, do not understand the sufferings of the people, and will be driven away by the masses sooner or later. " After he returned to the prefectural party Committee, he also made a special trip to visit the hospital. After leaving the hospital, he sent his car back to Manchuan. Until now, Yang Shan people often talk about it.

In the 1970s, Comrade Yang Yongnian served as deputy secretary of Shangxian County Committee, in charge of finance and trade. When Liu Dan, an employee of Fashion Xian Department Store, has a family of seven people, three of the five children are at school, and it is difficult to maintain their lives on a salary of more than 40 yuan in January. On the first day of the Lunar New Year, people go out to beg for food. Afraid of neighbors' jokes, I go out early and come back late every day, and I can't see the sky at both ends. A national employee who graduated from college has fallen into such a state that he has suicidal thoughts and wants to end his life. Comrade Yang Yongnian learned about these situations from his visit, and on the morning of the 28th of the twelfth lunar month (1978), he asked his wife, Nanhe, and his eldest son, Yang Changzhi, to carry the burden and jar and come to Liu Dan's house to propose marriage. They took out rice, noodles, meat, tofu, white steamed bread and bean dregs steamed bread from the basket and laid out a big stall. What moved him the most was a bad jar of fermented grains. This move moved Liu Danjiang's throat and he couldn't say a word. Tears swirled in his eyes and fell straight down.

There are many such things. When we know these unpretentious "stories", it is not difficult to understand that there are always many unknown people in Tomb-Sweeping Day who offer flowers, candy, cigarettes and alcohol to his grave every year! This is not simply to miss someone, but to miss the true feelings of a generation of grassroots producers.

Caring for cadres

In order to cultivate a cadre team willing to help Shangluo people get rid of poverty and become rich, Xian Ling tried his best to lead by example. In practice, he found himself cultivated in his work, boldly promoted, freely used, selfless and fearless. This is called some political corrupt elements who buy and sell officials by cronyism, which sounds like an incredible "Arabian Nights".

He never blames cadres for pursuing perfection. As long as you have good ideological quality, strive for political progress and are willing to do it, you should boldly use it and entrust it with heavy tasks, especially young cadres. Tang Qinghua, former chairman of Shangluo, and Li Bangyin, former deputy director of the Municipal People's Congress, were both ordinary workers on the grain front and secretary of the rural commune in Shangxian. After Lei became the mayor of Shangzhou on 1990, Comrade Yang Yongnian invited him to the office to talk about the employment problem for nearly three hours.
