Soviet MIG -3 1 Hound Fighter

MIG -3 1 is a long-range interceptor developed on the basis of MIG -25, designed and manufactured by mikoyan-Levich Bureau of the Soviet Union.

This kind of aircraft is mainly used to intercept low-altitude penetration aircraft and cruise missiles. The empty weight of MIG-3/KOOC-0/is 2/KOOC-0/500 kg, the normal takeoff weight is 29500-3/KOOC-0/750 kg, and the maximum takeoff weight is 44000 kg. It is the heaviest interceptor in the world.

The prototype made its first test flight in 1975, and was equipped with troops and two crew members in 1983. The power plant is two D-30F6 afterburning turbofan engines, with a single thrust of 96.04 kn and afterburning thrust of 15 1.9 kn.
