Draw a tiger instead of a dog. Literally, a person obviously wants to draw a tiger, but the result is similar to a dog. Now people often use this sentence to ridicule those who set goals that are completely out of line with their actual situation, and finally make them neither fish nor fowl and be laughed at. To aim high is to pursue too high and too far unrealistically, which is consistent with it.
