Why didn't Ross attend the Nuclear Security Summit? Which countries have done it?

The author believes that the following two reasons can be put forward to interpret Russia's motives:

First, this is to say "no" to the United States with practical actions.

As we all know, the so-called global nuclear summit initiated and organized by US President Barack Obama is a huge political "memorial archway" erected by Obama, mainly relying on a bright political "memorial archway", and Obama actually won such an amazing crown as the Nobel Peace Prize. The second is to defend Russia's strategic interests with practical actions.

The main purpose of holding a nuclear summit is to engage in so-called "global denuclearization." It is extremely hypocritical to ask such a question, which is nothing more than to strengthen one's hegemonic position, but also to seek fame and deceive the world. In fact, the United States, the largest nuclear power, refused to make a commitment not to be the first to use nuclear weapons and not to use nuclear weapons against non-nuclear countries. Until now, it is still updating and developing its own nuclear weapons technology, which is actually licking its face and saying that it wants to make the world denuclearized. Starting from Russia's strategic interests, strengthening nuclear weapons is a strong pillar to safeguard the fundamental strategic interests of the country. In the face of all kinds of strategic blackmail of American hegemony, in order to maintain the minimum strategic balance, the correct way for a country like Russia is not to weaken nuclear power, reduce the level of attack and strategic deterrence, but to strengthen with the earth. This is exactly what Russia has done in recent years. In many times of crisis, Russia's nuclear forces have played an irreplaceable deterrent role, providing credible insurance for Russia's life and death. Anyone can't help but imagine that if Russia today is not supported by nuclear power, no matter how great Putin is, can he recover Crimea from Ukraine? Can you walk so smartly in Syria? Therefore, we might as well ask, in today's world, which nuclear country dares to give up or destroy its nuclear weapons?

Therefore, under such harsh realistic conditions, it will undoubtedly become a historic joke to talk about global denuclearization and engage in insincere nuclear safety. Russia's rejection of this point by action is tantamount to a concrete and powerful defense of Russian nuclear forces.

In fact, this principle also applies to some rising powers. But the difference is that some big countries are different from Russia. They simply can't and dare not go against the United States. Instead, they have to cater to America everywhere. The more they cater to, the better. What about the global climate, terrorism, denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula, and so on, including this illusory nuclear summit, is actually a kind of catering to the United States, because once Uncle Sam is really angry, the consequences will be quite serious.
