Peng Hui (Louis Koo), Baoshan (Yam Tat-wah) and Mo Zhongyuan (Sun) are three good friends who are under social, family and economic pressure respectively. One night, three people were chatting in a bar to discuss ways to change the status quo. A mysterious old man named Chen Fushui left a clue and brought them a treasure hunt.

Mo Zhongyuan cracked the password left by the old man, and the original treasure was hidden in the underground of the Legislative Council. The three men got ready and decided to take risks and look for the treasure. However, just as they are making a fortune, Detective Wen (Lin Jiadong) is eyeing them. It seems that he and Peng Hui and even Baoshan's wife (Lin Xilei) have skeletons in their closet.

A series of strange things followed, and the people and forces who joined successively fell into the whirlpool of despair.
