Russia announced the construction of a new aircraft carrier. Can the Russian Navy return to its former glory?

In the Russo-Japanese War, they were defeated by their opponents whose quantity and quality of battleships were far inferior to theirs. The Far East Fleet and the Baltic Fleet were almost completely wiped out. Under the slogan of "The rise and fall of the empire depends on this battle" of the Japanese naval god Togo Heihachiro, the Russian navy's oars were wiped out. It can be seen that even when the quantity and quality of battleships are at an advantage, as a continental country. The Russian Navy is still not considered a powerful navy. In modern times, although Russia has inherited a large number of advanced warships from the Soviet Union, except for the cruiser Peter the Great in 1999, there has been no news of large ships being launched into the sea. On the contrary, due to financial problems and the inability to support the operation of existing warships, a large number of warships had to be eliminated and dismantled. There are also many warships that are still in service but cannot be used because of their age and disrepair. The Russian Navy inherited most of the assets of the Soviet Navy and now has four fleets: the Northern Fleet, the Pacific Fleet, the Black Sea Fleet, the Baltic Fleet, and a Caspian Sea Squadron. Over the past decade or so, the Russian Navy has been unable to get rid of adjectives such as "decline" and "dilapidated". Most of the ships left over from the Soviet era have been withdrawn from active service, or are in a state of not being delisted but unable to move, and only some remaining Elite.

Looking back at Russia now, under the joint attack of the United States and Saudi Arabia, the Russian economy, with oil as its main source of income, has collapsed. Therefore, the Russian Navy still has a long and difficult road ahead.
