Are Huskies and Pandas close relatives? Why are they so similar?

Huskies and pandas are close relatives, not animals of the same family.

Husky is the alias of the Siberian Husky, an animal of the genus Canidae.

Giant pandas are the only mammals of the genus Giant Panda, belonging to the order Carnivora, family Ursidae, subfamily Giant Panda.

The two are very different in appearance and living habits. It's just that the coat color is black and white, they are not close relatives at all.
