Improve the heat preservation effect of electrolytic cell, reduce heat loss, and appropriately increase the thickness of anode heat preservation material. Keep the thickness above 12cm. 4. Smooth power supply, reduce current fluctuation and choose the best current intensity. 5. Computer control is adopted to improve the hang-up rate and reduce the number of manual operations. Increase the effect interval. Set the effect interval to 100 hours or more. 6. Change the thinking of anode effect management, straighten out the relationship between electrolyzer and effect, and establish the management concept that no effect is needed as long as the electrolyzer is normal. 7. Optimize the lining structure of electrolyzer, adopt semi-graphite cathode carbon block, adopt new dry impervious material to improve the insulation effect of cathode bottom, and adopt silicon carbide composite material in the measuring part of electrolyzer. 8. Do a good job in the start-up of electrolytic cell roasting to ensure that the electrolytic cell can establish the polymer furnace side within the specified time. 9. Improve anode working quality, standardize operating procedures, improve anode replacement speed and reduce interference to electrolyzers. Ensure the stable production of electrolytic cell.
Fishing for carbon residue is also an auxiliary work in effect control: under the condition of using high-quality anode, the oxidation resistance of anode is better, the degree of carbon particle shedding and slag dropping of anode is smaller, the amount of carbon residue in electrolyte is less, and only a thin layer of carbon residue floats on the surface of electrolyte. On the one hand, carbon residue is continuously produced, on the other hand, it reacts with air for oxidation and combustion, and it is constantly consumed, so the increase of carbon residue in the cell is not obvious, which has little influence on the production of electrolytic cell. However, when the anode quality is poor, the amount of carbon slag is too large, which will cause great harm to the tank: ① The carbon slag with too thick middle seam will isolate the alumina added into the tank, making it unable to enter the electrolyte, resulting in sudden effect. (2) The carbon slag gathered at the side will bypass a part of the current, especially when the side groove is empty, which will reduce the current efficiency. (3) There is too much carbon on the surface of electrolyte, so it is difficult to remove the carbon deposit at the bottom palm. If the bath temperature rises, the effect voltage is low, the needle vibration continues, and the anode is overheated locally, which leads to the deterioration of the electrolyzer.
Carbon slag generally accumulates in the middle seam and four corners of the electrolytic cell, so it can be fished twice: a. After the effect, it can be fished from the aluminum outlet. This effect is beneficial to the separation of carbon slag from electrolyte, and the carbon slag is relatively concentrated and can be salvaged from the aluminum outlet. B. change the pole and fish. If the electrolyte contains a lot of carbon slag, it is necessary to replace the electrode to salvage carbon slag. In view of the necessity of fishing for carbon residue, the monitor always patiently explained it again and again, and finally we realized the importance of fishing for carbon residue.
The harmfulness of anode effect deserves our attention. Zero-effect management is the future development direction of aluminum electrolysis production.
