Du Fu's Poems of Frustration in Official Career

Among the 300 Tang poems, Du Fu has the most works. Many of his poems describe the social reality of that era and express Du Fu's inner world of worrying about the country and people.

However, some of these poems also describe Du Fu's own life. For example, the famous sentence "My road is full of petals-I didn't sweep it for others, but my thatched cottage door has been closed-but now it's open for you. Just when friends came, Du Fu was busy cleaning the house.

Among the 300 Tang poems, there is an ancient poem by Du Fu, which can be said to be the most boring seven-tone poem. It describes the poet Du Fu's bumpy life. Look:

It's a cold autumn night, and I'm lying alone in the town by the river on the Laka tree in this courtyard. I looked at my extinguished candle.

I heard the lonely sound of the horn sounded in the dark, and the moon was in the sky, but no one shared it with me.

My emissary is scattered by the vortex of rain and sand, and it is difficult to go.

However, I endured a miserable life for ten years and found a perch and a twig here. It is safe tonight.

The title of this ancient poem is sufu, and the description is very simple. In fact, it is about Du Fu's experience as a staff officer in Yanwu shogunate. Du Fu served as a staff officer in Yanwu shogunate. He has to go to work at dawn every day, and then he can get off work at night. Du Fu's home is far from here, so he can only stay in the shogunate. This poem was conceived by Du Fu when he was in the shogunate.

The first two sentences are about Du Fu. "The autumn night is cold in the Laka tree in this courtyard, and I am lying alone in the town by the river. I Look at My Candle Tears, which first describes such a desolate scene of phoenix trees fluttering in the wind in autumn, and then sets off the image of Du Fu in candlelight. Just two ancient poems laid the desolate tone of this poem, and also wrote that Du Fu's situation at that time was not satisfactory.

The last two sentences, "I heard the lonely note of the horn resounding through the darkness, and the moon was in the sky, but no one shared it with me", described the beauty of moonlight that Du Fu saw at that time. Du Fu heard the horn at night, as if talking to himself. Seeing the moon in the sky through the window is very bright, but no one enjoys it with him.

And these two ancient poems can also present the image of Du Fu to our eyes. There was silence everywhere. Du Fu was alone in the corner, hearing the long horn and looking at the moon alone. Such people who can't sleep at night set off a sad state, and also hinted at Du Fu's own situation and miserable life.

The next necklace, "My emissary was scattered by the rain and sand, and it was difficult to walk in Guansai' ao", is about the poet's yearning for his loved ones. Time flies, where can I find news of my loved ones? There is a depression in Guansai, so it is difficult for me to find my way back to my hometown. It turns out that the poet is far away from home, alone in this shogunate, staying up all night, looking up at the moon in the sky and missing his hometown and relatives.

The last two sentences, "However, I endured a miserable life for ten years and found a perch and a twig here, which is safe tonight", are written by the poet's exclamation of life. I've endured depravity for many years, and now I'm living in the shogunate.

For Du Fu, all his life, he longed to turn the tide and help the poor like Zhuge Liang, but no one cared about him and he could not realize his ideals and ambitions. Now that I am old, I came to the shogunate and missed my loved ones and my hometown.
