According to the Records of the Three Kingdoms, Wei Yan began to record it when he entered Shu with Liu Bei, which means that the history books of Wei Yan's subordinates were not recorded, which is not quite the same as what was said on TV. The TV series Wei Yan was originally Liu Biao's subordinate, but later he took refuge in Changsha satrap Han Xuan.
