Why can't Wang Yangming's unity of knowing and doing scientifically explain the relationship between human cognition and practice?

According to Ma Zhe, it is because Mr. Yangming's theory of the unity of knowing and doing confuses the boundaries between knowing and doing, because Mr. Yangming once said that knowledge is the beginning of action and action is the achievement of knowledge. Mr. Yangming regards knowledge, that is, the behavior of cognition, the behavior of thought, the behavior of will, or the psychological activities of people as a part of behavior, so it is impossible to explain the relationship between knowledge and behavior scientifically.

But in fact, Mr. Yangming's theory of the unity of knowledge and practice is not to explain the relationship between cognition and practice, but to explain how to promote people's moral practice and get rid of the disadvantages of people knowing but not doing it. This theory was put forward with a purpose. In the workbook, someone said:

Ask "the unity of knowledge and action". Mr. Wang said: "This needs to understand the purpose of my saying this. Today's knowledge is divided into two parts, so there is an idea. Although it is not good, it has not been done, so it will not be banned. I talk about the unity of knowledge and action today, just to let people know the starting point, that's all. If there is something wrong with the engine, it will fall down. Must be thoroughly rooted, so that the idea will not be hidden in the chest. This is my purpose. In my opinion, looking at Yangming's theory with the relationship between human cognition and practice reduces the quality of Yangming's thought and theory. If you really want to understand Mr. Yang Ming's theory, you can probably ignore this kind of random comment.
