The closest high-speed rail station to Jinggangshan is Hengyang East Station. But it's such a "closest" place, and it's still 20 kilometers away, so it takes about 3 hours to walk. It seems that they are "migratory birds" who come to the mountains to escape the summer heat.

After walking about 700 to 800 meters, there was an ancient small pavilion on the hillside beside the road. We walked slowly along the winding stone path and sat down in the pavilion, enjoying the view. Rarely clean and cool. Dinner was eaten at Tianjie. When Jinxiu called for dinner on WeChat, I was listening to the Red Army stories on the steps in front of the Martyrs Cemetery. Standing next to me and listening together was a girl who looked like a middle school student, carrying a rucksack and wearing a student uniform, with overflowing eyes. Tears, nose was red, corners of mouth were wet. I was shocked by how moved this little girl was. I have long passed the age where I can cry when listening to stories, but seeing her tears, I suddenly looked forward to this red education training course. Tianjie is a place integrating cultural tourism, shopping and dining. The floor is paved with marble, clean and tidy, and as beautiful as our pedestrian street. The street lights all look like torches, symbolizing "sparks of fire". Tianjie is cut into neat alleys. The part of the main street near the middle sells souvenirs and specialties. There are restaurants of various sizes linked to the word "Red Army" on both sides. The restaurant we ate at is called Donggu Red Army Restaurant, the Home of Veterans. It is said that this small restaurant ranks first in Meituan, and Jinxiu chose this restaurant from Meituan. Coincidentally, Brother Haizi also took this path. As soon as a group of us walked into the door of the shop, we saw Brother Haizi sitting alone at the first table at the door and eating. On the table is a dish of roasted tofu skin, which is similar to the boiled and fried yuba we make at home. It looks very appetizing. On the torch stand on Nanshan Mountain is a statue of a hand holding a red torch, which symbolizes that a single spark can start a prairie fire and also symbolizes that the fire of the red regime is preserved in Jinggangshan. Ciping Town is not big, and you can walk around it in an hour. The air is good and the temperature is suitable, so many people spend summer here, and Ciping Town is also busy for two months. Normally, this place is very clean, as you can tell by looking at its small vegetable market. At the morning market, nearby farmers will bring some local products to sell, including taro, small fish, tea, corn and the like. The attractive yellow peaches are delicious and not expensive. Later, when we saw the yellow peach planting base in Maoping Town, we understood the reason why these yellow peaches are cheap.

Jiangxi people’s breakfast mainly consists of rice noodles. The rice noodles in Jiangxi have a slightly harder texture than the rice noodles in Guilin. The soup noodles cooked in a small pot are much richer in flavor. The accompanying side dishes include sour beans, pickles and pickled soybeans, which are similar to the rice noodles in Hunan and Guangxi. Gou Gu Nao Tea firmly occupies a prominent position in every store on Tianjie. We didn’t understand what kind of tea it was at first, medicinal tea? Flower tea? It wasn’t until we walked into a tea house that we finally unveiled the mystery of Gougunao Tea. It turns out that it is the collective name for a kind of tea that grows on Gougunao Mountain. This tea is made into green tea and black tea, brewed with the mountain spring water here. The green tea has a strong chestnut aroma, and the black tea has a distinct osmanthus aroma, which is very delicious. That night, we drank tea from mid-range tea priced at 350 per catty to high-end tea priced at 1,700 per catty using white porcelain tureens from Jizhou kiln. It was perfect.

Except for the main living area of ??Ciping Town, other places are scenic spots, former residences and museums. This is a place completely based on red culture, with red elements everywhere. We wandered around the mountains for three days. We went to see all the cultural, historical and natural scenery.
