Standing in front of the grave of the martyr Tang Yicen, I seem to have gone back to the past. . . In the thirty-third year of Jiajing, the Japanese attacked, and I heard the shouting of killing. The enemy harassed Chongming County many times, killing people, setting fires and looting property. Chongming people suffer from it, and I hate it. After Tang Yicen took office in Chongming County, he quickly built fortifications, trained the sand people, took a series of measures to actively prevent the harassment of the enemy, and mobilized the county's military and civilians to organize themselves to take the lead. Qi Xin and Qi Xin worked together to fight against the enemy's repeated attacks, which made me feel relieved. After the traitors collaborated with the enemy inside and outside, they broke the county seat. I saw that Tang Yicen was furious and led the army and the people to start street fighting with the enemy. Today, with reverence for the martyrs, everyone came to the Martyrs' Garden to pay homage to the martyrs' tombs and remember the revolutionary martyrs. This is a very meaningful activity. In the heroic deeds exhibition hall of Martyrs' Garden, the brilliant achievements of 46 martyrs in our county/KLOC-0 are displayed. The heroic martyrs Rou Shi, War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression Zhu Xuemian, Tong Zunxiao, Wu Shiyi, who was the first to break through the heroic sacrifice, Zhang Xiaohong, Lu Angen and Ge Yaling, who wrote heroic praises with their lives, were shocked by the tragic historical chapter of heroes written by martyrs last April.

This year marks the 60th anniversary of the great victory of China people War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression. In War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, millions of outstanding Chinese sons and daughters gave their precious lives to fight against Japanese imperialism's aggression against our country. Commemorating this period of history can remind us of the disaster that the war brought to the people of China, publicize the mainstay role of the China Productive Party in national unity and War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, inspire and mobilize people of all ethnic groups throughout the country to realize the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, promote world peace and development, and make the historical tragedy never repeat itself.
