Why do people in Taiwan Province talk flat and tongue-tied?

when you speak, add "ah", "what", "ah", "oh" or "Dala" at the end of each sentence.

Just don't add "er" to make sure it works. I watched Meteor Garden too much before, and my speech turned into a Taiwanese accent.
