The two sisters laughed and laughed, so she went to the front of the steps for a leisurely walk, digging her heart to find courage, not listening or watching. After a while, Tanchun smiled through the window: "Miss Ling, you are free." Xiangling replied stupefied: "fifteen words are deleted, and you bet the wrong rhyme." Everyone laughed and said that Xiangling was really a poet. This story is basically consistent with the original text in the book.

? "Fourteen Cold" and "Fifteen Delete" are rhymes of old-style poems. According to today's point of view, there is almost no difference. Then Xiangling in the book, after listening to Tanchun's words, blurted out corrections, because she could have heard the difference in rhyme. Or by rote learning? I think there is not much difference between reading this idle word and deleting it at that time. Xiangling, a beginner in writing poetry, also remembers the rhyme on its backrest.

? Mr. Wu Qichang, Liang Qichao's favorite pupil, wrote the story of "Damn Thirteen Yuan" in Biography of Liang Qichao. From Xue Fucheng's Notes on Wan Yong:

? The tiger's mouth is taller than the United States, and there are fewer talents; His parallel calligraphy and prose poems are very profound ... The two rhymes of Gong Kao are in the rhyme of "thirteen yuan", so he ranks fourth. Wang Renqiu of Hengyang, lucky in autumn, gave a poem and said, "I am second-class in my life, damn it, thirteen dollars."

? The story became a joke and spread widely. I think many people have seen it. Wang Kaiyun is famous for writing poems. In fact, the client is not a pedantic scholar. His poems are very famous, and he is a world scholar. He even almost became the top scholar in the imperial examination, but that damn "thirteen yuan" hurt him. It can be seen that the lack of rhyme is not necessarily a matter for amateurs or beginners, but may also occur among experts, which of course also shows that mastering rhyme skillfully is not a simple matter. Mr. Wu Qichang also commented on this, saying:

? As for the content of that eight-rhyme poem, it is particularly tasteless; And the most ridiculous person, in modern dialect, will bet on Sui Tang Zhiyun, unreasonable, but self-righteous. So phonology is memorized by the brain, not by the ears! Therefore, famous old poets often joke about "rhyme".

? What Wu Qichang said was very painful. The Biography of Liang Qichao, written by him, is not described in chronological order and is often discussed with great fanfare. Poetry about the old style should also be counted as a section. I don't know when Wu wrote Liang Zhuan. According to Liang Rengong's death on 1929, it has been nearly a hundred years since he made this remark, but he still feels harsh. The "eight-rhyme poem" mentioned in his article is also the poetic style of the old imperial examination. Strangely, we have been opposed to stereotyped writing for more than one hundred years, and stereotyped writing has become a * * * knowledge. At present, the authority of poetry still regards the old rhyme as authentic and rejects the new rhyme. Isn't that weird?

? There was no mention of rhyme books before the Song Dynasty. After the Song Dynasty, there were Wu Hong Zheng Yun in the Ming Dynasty and Pei Shi Wen Yun in the Qing Dynasty, all of which were based on Ping in the Song Dynasty. During the Republic of China, the great linguist Mr. Zhao Yuanren compiled The New Rhyme of Mandarin, but like the New Rhyme of China today, it has not been effectively promoted and recognized.
