"The ignorant are fearless" I didn't think there was anything wrong with this sentence before, but after watching the movie "The Unknown", I think this sentence is simply ridiculous.

There are many origins of this sentence. The general idea is that some things can often be done better when we don’t know how difficult it is. Many people believe it after hearing it too much. However, in real life, most of the backwardness and jokes are due to ignorance.

Many people have watched "The Unknown". Let's review the plot of the movie: The main line of the movie is about two young men from the countryside, Li Datou and his glasses, who went to the city to rob but accidentally saved The story of Ma Jiaqi, a high-ranking paraplegic girl who wants to die, is also interspersed with the true love between Li Datou and his beloved girl, the heroic dream of glasses, and the reconciliation story between Ma Jiaqi and his brother Ma Xianyong who wants to be a policeman. This movie is a comedy with a clear main line and interspersed storylines that enrich the characters. It received very high ratings some time ago. My friends and I also laughed throughout the entire movie, but I have to say that my mind was in a state of confusion when I was halfway through watching it. Two words came to mind: ignorance and sadness.

Because of ignorance, they left the bank next to them and robbed a mobile phone store; because of ignorance, they robbed a bunch of mobile phone models; because of ignorance, they thought they could escape by robbing others. Look down... Many people cannot forget the hysterical pain of lying on the ground with glasses. It is the despair of being beaten back to the original shape again by the ruthless world and unable to turn over.

However, if you think about it carefully, is this the fault of both of them? Actually it's not. They want to get ahead, but the limitations of their thinking prevent them from seeing any other way out; they grabbed a bunch of mobile phone models just because they didn't know that in a mobile phone store that was not a toy store, there were models on the counter; They didn't rob, but they robbed the mobile phone store. They didn't know that the risk was the same. They have worked very hard, and the reason why they have a series of funny actions in the movie that we think is incredible is just because in their perception, this is how it should be.

Let’s take an example of how terrible ignorance can be. My parents still don’t understand why they can pay with just one click by scanning the WeChat code after consumption. They don’t even dare to deposit money in other accounts besides bank cards. My parents live in the city. Even though they themselves cannot keep up with the speed of change in the world, they have seen it, so even if they don't know how to do it themselves, they won't make a fuss about it. And can you imagine what it would be like if Glasses and Li Datou came to Beijing? I think you can imagine the collapse of the worldview.

Don’t think this is ridiculous. The story of the movie takes place in a small city in China, which is probably the third or fourth tier. Such small cities are still everywhere. There may be many people scattered there who have dreams but are unable to break through. People who are ignorant of their limitations.

Even those of us in so-called big cities are running hard to be less ignorant.

First of all, we need to change our thinking. We must admit and understand that human thinking always has limitations, and the laws of social operation always exceed your cognition. Ignorance is not terrible, what is terrible is that you are unwilling to admit it and face it.

The second is to keep learning, increase your knowledge and insights, interact and communicate with others more, and reshape your thinking habits and knowledge system.
