When is the Anti-Drug Day in China?

Anti-drug Day in China is June 26th every year.

1987 June 12-26, the United Nations held a ministerial conference on drug abuse and illegal trafficking in Vienna, attended by more than 3,000 representatives from 138 countries. The meeting put forward the slogan "Love life, don't take drugs". Delegates unanimously agreed to designate June 26th every year as the International Day against Drugs, so as to attract the attention of all countries in the world and call on people all over the world to make joint efforts to solve the drug problem.

June 26th every year is China Anti-Drug Day, which aims to enhance the anti-drug awareness of the whole society and promote the anti-drug work. This date was chosen because the United Nations adopted the United Nations Convention against Illicit Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances on June 26th, 1998, which was an important milestone in the global drug control cause.

Specific methods of drug control

First, strengthen publicity and education for students in school, stifle young students' curiosity and thirst for knowledge about drug abuse, and improve young people's understanding of drugs and AIDS. Encourage people to join the anti-drug campaign, and build an interactive platform for drug prevention and AIDS prevention and control through social platforms such as WeChat, QQ and Weibo to raise people's awareness of drug hazards and AIDS infection.

The second is to crack down on drug trafficking crimes. Only when local public security organs make efforts to achieve "zero tolerance" and jointly discover and crack down on drug-making crimes can we severely investigate and deal with drug trafficking outflows and cut off the chain of drug-making and drug trafficking.
