Jingpo clothing is underdeveloped.

The Shanguan society and primitive religion, which were adapted to the low productivity of Jingpo people, were relatively complete in the early 1950s. Primitive religious culture influences Jingpo people's life values, traditional concepts, ethics, psychological quality, customs and habits, and agricultural production. Because it is inconvenient to wear traditional costumes of Jingpo nationality in productive labor, they are gradually replaced by advanced and practical Han costumes. The ugly way of Han nationality's upper body and Jingpo's lower body continues to this day, which makes Jingpo people make many jokes and embarrassment because of their inconspicuous costumes in actual communication. Everyone who has worked and lived in Dehong remembers the traditional "Munao Zongge" Festival. In various festive public places, Jingpo people present traditional and old-fashioned national costumes; Men, women and children, wearing Baotou, white shirt, black trousers, long knife and wallet, is a Jingpo man. In order to show their wealth and beauty, women put on thick black coats with silver bubbles and red skirts embroidered with various animals and plants, but they wore them for less than 2-3 hours, just like performing on the stage, and soon changed into clothes and very suitable Han costumes.

Jingpo is the son and daughter of the mountain and the sun, and is a hardworking, brave and hospitable nation. On the way to the south, Jingpo was divided into six branches, which formed a variety of cultural characteristics, and formed an excellent and unique traditional culture of Jingpo from production culture, clothing culture, food culture, religious culture, entertainment culture and other cultures. The most outstanding and unique parts of these traditional cultures did not enter music, opera, dance, novels, movies and television as early as possible. Despite the leadership and support of government departments at all levels, some Jingpo leaders have no sense of urgency, crisis and responsibility, leading their nation to abandon ideas and concepts that are not suitable for social progress and produce old things such as lifestyle; Dare not persist in carrying forward the excellent elements of our national culture, learn and absorb the advanced cultures of all ethnic groups, including western civilization, make use of them, make up for their own shortcomings, and gradually realize the goal of becoming stronger from weak. Longchuan has become the hometown of "Munao Zongge" of Jingpo nationality, but the creation, design and production of national costumes have not been implemented in detail, and the propaganda needs to be strengthened.
