first of all, I talked about food. At that time, I was still working in the offshore area, and the supply boat was replenished once a week. I could still eat, four meals a day, four dishes and one soup for each meal (three meats and one vegetable), but as long as you were late, only meat, chicken, duck and fish were left. Vegetables were hard to preserve, only some simple vegetables were hard to eat. Sometimes there were fruits, but they were limited. PS: Some people here will ask us why it is four meals, because the ships run 24 hours a day and people are at work all the time, so we prepare one meal every six hours.

Let's talk about entertainment. The space on the ship will not be particularly large. Some ships will have gyms, but please believe that, just like gyms on land, most of them are decorations, so there won't be so many people to exercise. Besides, there is a library, which is not beautiful in mood and basically can't be seen. There is no signal on the mobile phone, we can't communicate with our family, we can't pick up hot chicks (there are men on board), we can't play online games without the internet, all young people are online DOTA, but as mentioned earlier, we work 24 hours a day, and the rooms can't all be single rooms, so there is basically one person sleeping in your room, so it's not too noisy, which leads to playing games is also a luxury. The key is that we can't get together so many people. You don't want to try it after bidding farewell to the emptiness after entertainment. Some foreign ships will have a party on weekends, but we don't. Envy is useless, so you can't afford to play.

And sleeping. It can give you a headache on the boat. It's very noisy on the boat, and the machine keeps making a lot of noise. You can't sleep when you get on the boat, but you can't get used to it when you get off the boat without sound. The ship has been moving, and the quality of sleep is not very good. I often wake up and find that my head has been transferred to the end of the bed. People with a strong sense of direction have no solution at all. I have too much idle time every day. When I'm not at work, I basically sleep, take a bath, watch a movie (downloaded before boarding the boat), have a meal, walk around the house bored, or sleep if I can't. I really sleep too much and feel dizzy.

There are not many people on board, and they do their jobs, and there are three shifts, so there are not many opportunities to meet and chat. After a long time, I found that my tongue can't stretch out straight. I used to be eloquent, and I was dumb. After changing jobs, I still have the problem of chattering, which is really bad.

Most ships are divided into the cab, deck and engine room, and the corresponding highest positions are captain, chief mate and old ghost. Corporate ships also have political commissars. When I go to work, I am really in the cab, and my rank is equivalent to that of captain, but no one cares about me. As a supervisor, I am always unpopular. Generally, the cab is quiet. In order to listen to all kinds of information, you can't make noise, let alone listen to songs and watch movies. At night, it is dark. It's such a big place on the deck, and it's stormy every day, so be careful when you walk. The cabin is the worst. Why do you call it an old ghost? It's because you look like a ghost in a dark and noisy place.

what should I do if I encounter a typhoon on the ship? That's funny, the chances of encountering a typhoon when going out to sea are absolutely very high. Don't think that the crew are all good swimmers, and most of them are landlubbers. Even if you can swim, you will still disappear in that complicated water area for three minutes. When the typhoon came, everyone was afraid, and they couldn't eat, and they kept vomiting. So did the old crew, but their resistance was higher. When my colleague first encountered a typhoon, he could only hold a life jacket in his room. His face turned pale and he was really a little timid. It was useless for you to hold anything when the ship had an accident, but the scene was really terrible. I met four typhoons in half a year, and then I got used to it. Everything that moves in the house is either put on the ground or tied up. I have no choice but to eat, sleep and vomit.

after staying on the boat for a long time, the feeling of walking on land as soon as the boat gets off is one word: cool! But from then on, I didn't like crowded places. At first, I didn't even cross the road. Standing on the side of the road, I had to remember the traffic rules. Should I go forward? How can I go with so many people? It's so funny that my hands are thick and correct.

Life on the ship is very bitter, mainly mental torture. People will always have some psychological problems if they stay for a long time, but fortunately, China people have a good tolerance and get used to it. After advanced technology, life on the ship will improve, but at present, being a sailor is really not a good choice.
