How difficult is the four-volume book on New Concepts?

New Concept English consists of four books with increasing difficulty, each containing about 1,000 vocabulary words. These four books are aimed at different groups of people. One and two books are suitable for beginners, while three and four books are for advanced people. The specific English proficiency levels targeted also vary.

1 Volume 1 & Volume 2

3 Volume 4
