1. Three Mile Island nuclear accident. 1979 At 4: 00 am on March 28th, a major accident occurred at Three Mile Island Nuclear Power Station in Pennsylvania, USA. The core lost water and melted due to the pump failure, and radioactive materials escaped. The accident caused 60% of uranium rods to be damaged, and the reactor was finally paralyzed. After the accident, the whole country was shocked, and 200,000 residents near the nuclear power plant panicked and evacuated. Jimmy, the then president? Carter inspected the scene of the accident and announced the decision that "the United States will not build nuclear power plants again".

Today, Ukraine is still unable to shake off the dream of a nuclear accident. Ukraine is going to build a new coffin tomb now, but it can only be built for 100 years.

Third, the Fukushima accident. After the Fukushima accident, Japan announced that it would give up nuclear power. The radioactive sewage from Fukushima is discharged into the sea at the rate of 400 tons per day. Will it not flow to China?

In the next 200,000 years, mankind must fight a war against the proliferation of nuclear waste, which will last for 100 cycles. During the war, we will always be attacked by pervasive nuclear dust, and no matter where it goes, all life will be irreversibly destroyed. In the war between human beings, lost positions can be regained. But in the war between mankind and nuclear waste, once the position is lost, it can never be won back. Wherever nuclear waste goes, it becomes a ghost town, which can never be reversed.

This is essentially different from disasters such as earthquakes, floods and traffic accidents. Tangshan earthquake and Wenchuan earthquake shocked the world, but because the land was not destroyed, children kept coming out of women's stomachs. Now there are no traces of earthquakes in Tangshan and Wenchuan. Chernobyl and Fukushima are different. Because of the leakage of nuclear waste, everything is highly toxic, water cannot be drunk, food is gone, and women cannot have children. 2. The nuclear disaster that mankind will face.

However, Three Mile Island, Chernobyl and Fukushima are not all human nuclear disasters. The head of the nuclear disaster has not yet arrived. The so-called "big head" refers to the high-energy nuclear waste of nuclear power plants. These things cannot be handled by human beings, and it is only a matter of time before they leak into the environment.

There are three places to deal with high-energy nuclear waste: one is to throw it into the sea; Second, send it into space; Third, buried deep in the land.

Dumping into the sea has been prohibited by international law, and 1972 London convention stipulates that dumping radioactive waste into the sea is prohibited. Because it will cause mankind to lose the whole ocean.

Of course, it is safest to transport it into space, but human beings have accumulated about 200,000 tons of nuclear waste, and this launch is a huge cost. And because of the possibility of a launch accident, this plan was rejected.

Buried in the land, it won't work in the end. The Yucca Mountain nuclear waste disposal site in Nevada, USA, was planned for 30 years and finally abandoned. The reason is that nuclear waste continues to heat up. The power of a ton of nuclear waste is about 13 kW, which is equivalent to the electric stove in the sauna room. If it cannot be cooled continuously, it will spontaneously ignite and cause hydrogen explosion. This is how the Fukushima accident in Japan was caused.
