However, it has a huge defect, and that is its GDP. Although it is the second largest city in Sichuan province, its GDP is not very high compared with other big cities, and it can almost be described as poverty.

Mianyang's GDP in Sichuan Province is still acceptable, and it looks quite high, which is more than 200 billion yuan higher than Deyang, the third place. However, compared with Ningbo and Suzhou, which are both the second cities in the province, there is a big gap.

Ningbo's GDP is as high as one trillion yuan, and Suzhou is even more exaggerated, even surpassing the provincial capital Nanjing, reaching a crazy180 billion yuan. Mianyang is really a drop in the bucket compared with them.

Why is the GDP of China Science and Technology City and Electronic Industry Base designated by this country only 300 billion, which is so much worse?

First, the industrial structure is unreasonable. Because of the vigorous development of electronic industry, the secondary industry plays a leading role in Mianyang's three major industries. The income of its industrial enterprises is as high as 250 billion yuan, and the total output value of the construction industry is not low, which is 75 billion yuan.

At the same time, the primary industry agriculture, its proportion is also relatively large. Its agricultural added value reached 175 billion yuan, the added value of animal husbandry reached10 billion yuan, and the added value of forestry and fishery reached 3 billion yuan.

In contrast, the development of emerging industries is relatively slow and the service industry is underdeveloped. In terms of industrial distribution, there is still a heavy homogenization phenomenon, which leads to a weak agglomeration effect. In this way, Mianyang's industrial structure needs further adjustment and optimization.

Second, there are problems in integration of defense and civilian technologies. Because Mianyang is an old industrial base in Sichuan with good industrial infrastructure, it has been selected by the state as an important nuclear industry and military industry base in southwest China. Its military enterprises are relatively developed, accounting for a high proportion of the industry, reaching 70% of the industry.

It stands to reason that if military enterprises are properly integrated with private enterprises, they should be able to assist economic development well. However, due to the problems of law, capital and talents, it is difficult for military enterprises to play the role of coordinating economic construction and development, and it is impossible to achieve the unity of developing the army and promoting economic development.

Third, the development of Mianyang is quite different. The biggest proportion of Mianyang's economy is Fucheng District and jiangyou city. The GDP of Fucheng District is as high as 75 billion yuan, and that of jiangyou city is as high as 43 billion yuan. These two places add up to nearly 654.38+02 billion, accounting for half of Mianyang's GDP and providing Mianyang with the most GDP.

There are three main reasons that restrict Mianyang's economic development.
