I have never seen a village where the aurora appears. What song?

The song Mohe Ballroom, written, composed and sung by Liu Shuang, was released on June 15, 2020 and included in the promotional album Planet 1st of the film Flame on the Plain.

The lyrics are as follows:

I have never seen a village where the aurora appears.

I have never seen anyone set off fireworks in the middle of the night.

The evening star is like your eyes, killing and setting fire.

You didn't say anything. The strong wind disturbed me.

I came across you three thousand miles away.

Skirts are dancing in the garden.

The light at the bottom shook the morning light.

In Mohe ballroom 1980.

If you have time

You will come to see me, won't you?

See how the heavy snow ages.

How do my eyes melt?

If you see me.

Please turn around and be surprised.

I'm afraid my tears and my white hair are like a shameful joke.

I have never seen a village where the aurora appears.

I have never seen anyone set off fireworks in the middle of the night.

The evening star is like your eyes, killing and setting fire.

You don't have to say anything. The strong wind bothers me.

But you angered the gods.

You are too young to go.

It's all your fault that the mountains are cold.

In a person's Mohe ballroom

If you have time

You will come to see me, won't you?

See how the heavy snow ages.

How do my eyes melt?

If you see me.

Please turn around and be surprised.

I'm afraid my tears and my white hair are like a shameful joke.

If there ever comes a day when

My faith suddenly collapsed.

There are no flowers in the garden of this city.

The voice on the radio is hoarse.

If one day.

Will you run to me?

Dust enters the sea.

Creation background

This song is based on the story of Zhang Dequan (a pseudonym), an old solo dancer in the ballroom, who lost his beloved wife in a forest fire in 5.6 Daxinganling. 20 19 12, Liu Shuang went to Mohe to collect the scenery, passed by a ballroom and was attracted by the retro music coming from it. At that time, he was curious about an old man dancing alone and learned the outline of his short story.

The old man's wife was killed in a forest fire in 5.6 Daxinganling. After that, the old man did not remarry and had no children for decades. He often danced in the ballroom near the incident and missed his dead dancing wife.

After obtaining the consent, he returned to Beijing and wrote a farewell to the dead wife Kang. It took Liu Shuang two months to make samples and mix the master tapes. In fact, three or four versions were revised in the process, and finally his most satisfactory expression was determined, and a certain degree of literary imagination and detail filling were added.
