What does Celtic mean?
Celtic is the common ancestor of Irish and Scots. The 100-year history of Scottish top leagues is almost a contest between Celtic and Golas Rangers. Because there are many Irish immigrants in Boston, the established basketball team is called "Celtic", which is also one of the most successful teams in NBA history.

The Celts fought against the Roman army to prevent Caesar from conquering Gaul, but in the end the Romans seized most of the British Isles and Spain from the Celts. In the Middle Ages, the Celts were once powerful for a while. However, this civilization only existed as a second-rate force in the marginal areas of Europe for most of the Middle Ages. When the Roman Empire collapsed, the Celts controlled only a part of Ireland, Wales, Scotland and a small part of northwest France. After entering the Middle Ages, the Celts consolidated their dominant position in Scotland and tried to control most parts of England several times.
