Plot introduction

[Edit this paragraph]

Three years ago, the talented jewel thief Miles Logan (martin lawrence) was surrounded by police and had no choice but to hide his newly acquired diamonds worth $20 million in a construction site. Unexpectedly, after Miles stayed in prison for three years, the first thing he had to do was to find the diamonds he had put on the construction site, and then he began to turn over a new leaf, only to find that the construction site three years ago had now become LAPD. This embarrassed Miles.

At present, the only way to get the diamonds back is to sneak into the police station. Miles has been puzzling over many side doors, but he can't get in. So, he decided to take the ultimate measure-pretending to be a policeman to get in. Miles never imagined that because he knew so many criminal tricks, he became the most beautiful detective in the police station, leading his rookie partner (luke wilson) to lead the way, driving and chasing bullets, and caught the criminal at once. Miles changed from a criminal in the past to a hero today.
