Who is Xue Pan? Four families, the eldest son Xue Xue, the king of Jia. Aunt Xue's son, Xue Baochai's brother, Xiangling's man, what others call a fool. Such a person who is almost covered with stains should be the most criticized or even disliked person in A Dream of Red Mansions. So, is that it? Why does Zhi Yanzhai always call Xue Pan Brother Dai? Instead of calling them by their first names, because Jia Zhen looks down on them?

As soon as Xue Pan appeared, he killed Feng Yuan, a small landlord. Then Shi Shiran took his mother and sister to Beijing to pay tribute to the elegance of the countryside. This heinous behavior gave most people a bad feeling from the beginning. Sure enough, Xue Pan later exposed his absurd nature. Longyang's kindness disturbed Jia Jia's furniture research and described Tang Yin's colourful paintings as "Huang Geng". Fortunately, how did he know the word "Huang Geng"? Liu Xianglian was beaten if he couldn't hook up. He rashly married Xia Jingui, but it was not good for his concubine Xiangling ... So Xue Pan had nothing to say. But after reading it all, it seems hard to hate him! This is very strange.

A dream of red mansions is false only when it is always true. As I once said, what is false is not false, but another presentation. Ning is chaotic, glory is declining, so what is well written is actually bad and fake. Jia Baoyu seems perfect, but when he looks closely at what he has done, he is terrified. No matter how many times he gave himself an excuse not to like studying, he molested Jin Chuaner, his mother's handmaid. He mistakenly thought it was an attack by a girl. He is indifferent to women and girls, and his words are irresponsible. On the contrary. Whether it is silly and lascivious Xue Pan or lascivious and dissolute Jia Lian, there are many bright spots. Maybe this is the fake in Cao Xueqin's works.

Go back to Xue Pan. Except that Zongnu killed Feng Yuan, we can see that Xue Pan didn't do anything bad except eat wine every day and do nothing. Even if Liu Xianglian hit him, he didn't pursue it. Liu Xianglian helped him behind his back, and he completely opened his heart and accepted him.

This is what he told Jia Lian. Xue Pan really knows a thing or two about Liu Xianglian. Since he recognized his brothers, he accepted them wholeheartedly. Not only to buy a house for Liu Xianglian, but also to marry him. The most rare thing is "let's live together", which is a reflection on living together. Later, Liu Xianglian wanted to marry You Sanjie, which was also proposed by Xue Pan. Even when Liu Xianglian left with the lame Taoist, Xue Pan was very sad.

Xue Pan, this is really sad. It's hard to imagine that a careless second sai-jo can be so attentive to a person who meets by chance. Even if Liu Xianglian saves him, there will be many ungrateful people. Xue Pan said that he personally brought a page, and the people he looked for and asked showed that Xue Pan was sincere to people!

Xue Pan is really not a bad person. Look at him saying to the prostitute Yuner, "I met your mother the other day and told her not to let her hit you." Only Xue Pan can do such a thing. Jia Baoyu and others didn't have a chance to do it, and they won't do it if they have a chance.

In this passage, Zhi Yanzhai successively commented on Xue Pan: refreshing and refreshing [Jia Xu Fang]; Jia Xu criticized: the vast majority of people who have suffered from this acute disease are not alone. Jia Xu's side approval: Why not stay? Xue Pan comments: Zhi Yanzhai comments with light sentences. Although there is no lack of banter, there is no lack of contempt.

To sum up, judging from Cao Xueqin's writing and Zhi Yanzhai's comment on writing, Xue Pan is not particularly resistant and critical. According to Cao Xueqin's true and false brushwork, Xue Pan was even affirmed by Cao Xueqin in many aspects. And Zhi Yanzhai is the A Dai of every Xue Pan, and he never calls her by her first name. Watch him write Jia Zhen, Jia Rong and so on. It can be seen that Xue Pan is by no means a villain. Of the three Xue family members, Xue Pan was the most annoying at first sight. But the more I read the Red Chamber, the more I think Xue Pan is cute. There may be many opponents, but this is the fun of reading. Why not object?
