According to historical records, there was a person named Shen Wansan in history. Shen Wansan's original name was Shen Fu, and he was from Nanxun, Zhejiang.

The story of Zhu Yuanzhang and Shen Wansan:

Zhu Yuanzhang was preparing to build a capital in Nanjing, and decided to expand Yingtian City and build it very grandly. However, due to frequent wars and huge expenditures, there was no money to build the city wall. The wealthy Shen Wansan agreed to be responsible for the construction of the section from Jubao Gate to Shuixi Gate, as well as related projects such as shacks, streets, bridges, water gates, and administrative residences. Not only did he hire first-class construction craftsmen, he also spent all day on the construction site supervising the progress and checking the quality.

Although some "inspectors" often went to the construction site to cause trouble and make money, Shen Wansan still completed the city wall built by the royal family three days ahead of schedule. But doing so just refutes the emperor's face. Then, he actually proposed to Zhu Yuanzhang that he planned to use his own million taels of gold to reward the three armies on behalf of the emperor. This finally made Ming Taizu Long Yan furious. As a result, he was deprived of his property and sent to the border of Yunnan.

Shen Wansan’s family started farming in the early years. Later, when they became rich, they hired people to farm. One year later, there was a drought in their area, and many plants and trees could not survive. Only a worker in his family could cut a lot of green grass every day. Shen Wansan curiously asked him why he could cut so much grass every day, but the lawnmower concealed the fact. So in the next few days, Shen Wansan followed quietly.

For several days, Shen Wanshan followed the lawnmower and peeked, and saw that he slept under the Shenjia Bridge one mile north of Shenjia Village every day. He slept until noon when no one was around, and then went to the north of the village to cow. Go up to Egg Mountain to cut the grass. So he forced the lawnmower to take him to the place where the grass was cut. When he got there, he found a circular meadow with green grass growing on it.

He asked people to cut it, and no matter how much it was cut, the grass would grow immediately and continuously. Shen Wanshan observed that the southwest of this mountain is adjacent to Phoenix Mountain. The Phoenix does not fall into a treasureless place. He took two people there the next day and dug out an iron basin. After Shen Wansan took the iron basin back, he didn't find anything there.

After researching for a long time without coming to a conclusion, he finally used the basin to hold pig feed and fed it to the pigs. The pigs grew very quickly. So he washed the iron basin and took it home to wash his hands and face. Finding that nothing happened, he put it aside again.

Later one time when Shen Wansan's daughter-in-law was washing her hands, she accidentally dropped the gold ring in the basin. She quickly fished out the ring, and something strange happened. More and more gold rings kept coming. Only then did Shen Wansan realize that this iron basin was really a treasure, and he made a fortune from it.
