Hua Tuo wrote a letter denounced by the county governor and left it behind. After reading the letter, the county governor was furious and sent an officer to arrest Hua Tuo. 2. Bian Que changed his mind

Lu Gonghu and Zhao Qiying had minor illnesses, so they asked Bian Que to treat their illnesses together. 4. Prescribe the right medicine to the case

Zhang Zhongjing was famous in medicine. He also treated his colleagues humbly and lost no opportunity to learn from other doctors.

In the past, some doctors only passed down their medical skills to their own children and grandchildren, and generally did not pass them on to others. At that time, there was a famous doctor named Shen Huai in Nanyang. He was over seventy years old and had no children. He felt melancholy all day long, unable to eat or sleep, and gradually became sick with worry.

The local doctors all shrank when they came to treat Shen Huai. No one can take good care of the old gentleman's illness. It's getting heavier. After Zhang Zhongjing found out, he rushed to Shen Huai's house.

Zhang Zhongjing examined the patient's condition and diagnosed it as a disease caused by worry. He immediately prescribed a prescription, using one pound each of grains and flour to make pills, coated with cinnabar on the outside, and asked the patient to take them in one meal.

When Shen Huai found out, he felt funny! He ordered his family to hang pills made from whole grains and flour under the eaves, and he would point to the pills and ridicule Zhang Zhongjing when he met everyone.

When relatives came to see him, he smiled and said: "Look! This is the prescription Zhang Zhongjing gave me. Who has ever seen that whole grains can cure diseases? A joke! A joke!"

When a friend came to see him, he smiled and said: "Look! This is the prescription Zhang Zhongjing gave me. Who can eat five kilograms of noodles in one meal? How funny! Funny!"

5. The origin of "Tang"

When Zhang Zhongjing was the governor of Changsha, an epidemic was prevalent, and many poor people came to seek medical treatment. He was contrary to the lordly style of feudal officials. He always welcomed those who came to seek medical treatment warmly, diagnosed and treated them attentively, and never refused.

At first, he treated people in the back hall or in his own home after handling official duties. Later, as more and more people came to treat patients, he was overwhelmed, so he simply moved the clinic. When he arrived at the Changsha lobby, he sat in public for consultation, setting a precedent for a famous doctor to sit in the lobby. His move has been passed down as a legend through the ages.

Later, in order to commemorate Zhang Zhongjing, people called doctors who sat in pharmacies to treat diseases as "sitting doctors". These doctors also named their pharmacies "XX Tang Pharmacy", which is how the name "Tang" of traditional Chinese medicine shops came from.
