How do people die? For a person who dies normally, you probably don't see the dead person as such. Do you know much? Because I have seen a lot. Why have I seen a lot? When many old friends are leaving, I go to see them in person. Some of them are waiting for me to die, and then I come, feed...hand, Hey... As soon as I caught him, I was a weirdo when I met him. I grabbed a lot of old friends. I told you not to miss me at this time. You recite Amitabha and leave quickly. I will recite it for you. Hurry up... , and there were a few others that I recited, and I stood there to help him. After reciting for an hour or two, he still refused to leave. I said I won’t hold you back, just go ahead. As soon as I put my hand down, he really ran away. There are many more. When a person dies, our body is composed of the four elements. The Buddha said it is a combination of the four elements. Earth, water, fire, and wind are called the four elements. You all know this when you are young. It is best for you to write about it. Don’t be lazy. There are many new great Bodhisattvas. Both old Bodhisattva and middle-aged Bodhisattva should write it down. The four elements, earth, water, fire, and wind, are called the four elements. Big is a big category. I will explain this slowly, so our breathing belongs to the wind element. When a person is about to die, the earth element has problems first. You see in the hospital, when you are about to die, you see two people lying there. The legs can no longer move, so we can see this. When you read this ancient book and read "The Analects", you will see that before his death, Confucius' student Zengzi, Qiyuzu, why is it called Qiyuzu? I have no feeling in my two feet. I asked the student to help me place my feet and lift my hands. I can’t move my two hands. Please help me position my hands. Now I can avoid this. He knew that he was about to die. He said that from now on, I feel relieved. I know that I have never done anything wrong in my life and I can be exempted from the sin because I am leaving. So at this time, in this situation, when a person is about to die, the earth will be scattered first and the body will become heavier. Therefore, if we are older and have not studied hard, we will feel that our body does not listen to us and it is not convenient to walk. , there is something wrong with this place, let me tell you, this is a signal, before you die, you should do this..., and then, when you are about to die, you will feel that this body cannot move anywhere, it is very painful, and your body feels like, before you die, it is like a It's like a mountain pressing down, or a boulder weighing down a thousand pounds. At this time, we are sitting here today, and several famous doctors will be able to save their lives. As long as there is a way, there is still a way, and there is no way in the second step. Wait until the earth is big. Dispersion, what follows in the second step? When the water is dispersed, a cold sweat breaks out. When a cold sweat breaks out, the person dies normally. When a cold sweat breaks out on the body, it is icy. You have to know that as doctors and friends, we touch this patient lying there, and touch that. My hands are sweaty and my body is sticky and cold. I'm sorry. It's hard to handle. That's called hard to handle. It's really hard to handle. It's hard to save. People who are about to die at this time are already unconscious when they feel it. The state came, and I felt... like it was raining heavily, and I felt like I was floating in the middle of the ocean. I had all hallucinations. It was like a dream. This was when the water dispersed, and then beads of sweat came out one by one on my body. Finally, the top Just oh, oh..., the phlegm is rolling inside, and when it reaches the anus, it opens up. The last bowel movement is not a bowel movement. The last liquid in the large intestine is a row, and the last ejaculate from the previous urination is released. This When the two urinating and urinating Shui Datong broke out in a cold sweat, it was over. It was difficult to save. Then came the wind element and the fire element. They breathed, oh... oh..., and their last breath died. I have died. Yes, because I have seen it. Of course, I don’t have as good an experience as myself. I was there to help him die. I told him to hurry up and recite the Buddha’s name. Let’s go. Let’s go. There are also some friends who have been saying this all their lives and told me, please pay attention. , I know, there is no way to recite the Buddha's name. I have recited the Buddha's name all my life. When I was leaving, I knew that there was no way to recite the Buddha's name. Please pay attention. You all said to recite the Buddha's name. What does it mean to recite the Buddha's name? Then I scolded him. What are you doing? Yes, when you recite Buddha in your heart, don’t use “Namo Amitabha” or “Mani, Mani”. As long as you recite it in your heart, this is the thought. I said, if you can’t recite Buddha, what can you do? If you can speak, will you know that you are going to die? That is chanting. People don’t know what chanting is. They think, Amitabha, Amitabha... it is chanting. That is the name of the Buddha. This is also slowly introducing the method of chanting Buddha. At this time... the breath has stopped here, and the fire is strong. It just broke.

We know, have you all taken the consciousness-only class? Let me ask you fellow monks, have you all gone to school? Warmth, longevity, and consciousness are a trinity. The conscious spirit still exists, the warmth on the body must still exist, and the consciousness still exists. Once the consciousness dissipates, when you die, the warmth will be gone, the consciousness will leave, and the soul will leave, so people After death, according to the science of Buddha, you see how he has known it for thousands of years, so he talks about the six paths of reincarnation. If this person has good and evil deeds in this life, he can become a human in the next life. If he comes back among humans, he will die. When he breathes his last breath, you touch his whole body. This is a science. It is cold everywhere, but in the end it is still warm here (Master Nan’s hand shows his heart). In the next life, he will definitely become a human being, and he will come back to the human realm, good and evil. Kanhan, when this type of person is dying, there must be some people who are more advanced, very refreshed, and have all the family affairs ordered, and then the tears fall, and there is no choice but to leave, and the chest is still warm at the end, that is humane After the middle age, if you have high blood pressure and heart disease, your whole body is cold and you still feel hot when you touch it, the way of heaven, but in the way of heaven or asura, he has a bad temper, and after death he will be a heavenly being, and the asura will become like this. , some are kind-hearted and cowardly. Those are considered good gods, so good people and bad people cannot be distinguished. Asuras and gods are the same. They are all on top. If the top of the head is still warm at the end, they will be reborn in the west. , but sometimes I walked away and came to the east again halfway. This is true. I am not joking to you. This is science. I will give you a rough introduction now. If it is after death, this person will be evil all his life. If you do too many bad things, you will become a beast. Your whole body will be cold, but your belly button will still be warm. You are in the beast's way, but this is gone. You can't feel it. This kind of person will die in a pitiful state of being very cold, and in the end the whole body will be cold. Finished, my knees are still warm at the end. In the realm of hungry ghosts, the hell realm goes downwards. This Sakyamuni Buddha, our teacher, how does this master know? How did he know what scientific experiments were done at that time? , but it’s true. It’s said that the earth, water, fire and wind are all dispersed, and they become comatose and die. Please pay attention, people, this is normal. I didn’t talk about how dogs died or how ants died. Damn it, how did the shrimp die? I didn’t even talk about it. It’s all there. It’s all in Buddhism. You have to look for it. That’s why people say that Buddhism is vast and profound. It’s vast and profound. It’s so profound and profound. These four words are also killing everyone, because it’s hard to see clearly like smoke, why should I go swimming like the sea, why should I dig into the smoke, so like you, if you don’t study, why bother..., it’s just fine like this, why bother to study? What to do with the vast sea? You can't see clearly through the smoke. The sea is so deep. How can you swim? You will really die. Normally, the last moment is extremely happy. But at the last moment, with such a snap of the fingers, what is an instant? The word "moment" comes from Sanskrit in the Buddhist scriptures. With a snap of the fingers, it's sixty moments. How fast a moment is. So you feel that when you completely leave this body and the four elements disperse, when you feel very comfortable, you are already in a coma and no longer there. , I don’t know, who is really dead? About this stage of death, after 20 or 30 hours, in our human world, this is tentative, there is no standard, suddenly wakes up like a dream, usually called a soul, this is not a ghost, here Commonly among us, there is no such thing as a soul in Buddhism. This is called the beginning of the intermediate existence, also called the intermediate existence, which means that this body has died and the life of the other body has not yet cooperated. This stage, the intermediate stage of existence, is called the intermediate existence. It is also called Zai Yin. At this time, I feel like I am dead after falling asleep and suddenly waking up. But I can’t see it when I look at my body. There is an old Chinese saying, life does not recognize the soul. You will live until you are like this. You don’t know the soul either. Even if you live long enough to know your own soul, even if you haven’t become a Buddha or the Taoist, that’s enough. If you have a little foundation, you can meditate hard and gradually recognize it. You don’t know it yet.

But as soon as the bardo body wakes up and turns around, there is a strong light in that moment. This is a scientific principle, life, why, that light is not the sun's light, nor the moon's light, nor the electric light, the strong light Light, except for people who can really meditate and see clearly in the light of nature, at that time, the life and death in this light will definitely not come, so they will take a long leave to give this world, so you usually have this light, your own nature You can't even recognize the light. When you reach the state of the bardo body and soul, when the light comes, sometimes your own soul will be scared away. If it disperses, it will come back in chaos. This is science, that is Really, so if you really achieve concentration, the Four Zens and Eight Concentrations, and reach a certain state, you will be in a piece of true nature light, which is neither light with form nor formless light. Then you can maintain a state with form. The light of form is not formless. Let’s discuss this later. Therefore, as soon as this light comes and the bardo body wakes up, this light will disappear in a flash. Whatever appeared before, whatever you have done in this life Little things, big things, small things, scenes and scenes from a movie all come out very quickly. Not only in your life, but also in previous lives, previous lives, previous lives, all the good and bad things in so many lives have the same shadow, and come here in fragments. Cause and condition, so the Buddha told you four words, Shakyamuni Buddha, "Even if it lasts for a hundred kalpas, your work will not be lost. When the cause and fate meet, you will receive the retribution yourself." Even if it goes through hundreds of kalpas, the karma you have done will not perish. If it perishes, it will not disappear. When the cause and destiny meet, you will receive the retribution yourself. So when every life is turned around, why does this person have a different life span, good or bad looks, good or bad experiences, some are poor, some are proud, some are unhappy, why are they all..., so the principles of Buddhism are based on the three lives. Cause and effect, six paths of reincarnation. If Buddhism does not understand the principle of cause and effect and reincarnation, you will learn Buddhism in vain. So we know that there is an old Dharma Master. I will not mention his name now and he is still alive. Tell me, he said three sentences, I clapped my hands and laughed, I said it was really good, he is a great master, he said, let me tell you, tell everyone, lay people are afraid of cause and effect, these Buddhists are very afraid Cause and effect, cause and effect are afraid of monks, and monks are afraid of lay people. This reincarnation, the reincarnation of the triangle. Although this is a joke, if you don’t understand the principle of cause and effect in the three lives and the six paths of reincarnation when you learn Buddhism, you will learn it in vain. The Buddhist teachings of Mahayana and Mahayana are basically based on this. This is the law of cause and effect, which is in nature. In physical science, it is also established and recognized. As for the laws of life, they are all based on the principle of cause and effect.
