What kind of story does Peacock Fly Southeast tell?

The story is simple. The new wife was divorced by her wicked mother-in-law, forced to remarry by her family, and her ex-husband stopped her. Both of them agreed to double suicide. Later generations were deeply impressed and recorded in poetry.

Peacock Flying Southeast is the first narrative poem in the history of China literature, and it is also the pinnacle of Yuefu poetry. Later generations praised it and Mulan poems of the Northern Dynasties as "double walls of Yuefu".
