Is the labor law really a disaster for private enterprises?

Although low welfare and low security are conducive to reducing labor costs in theory, they may not be conducive to the overall improvement of economic quality in practice. The lower the labor income, the less the workers' sense of security and dignity, the weaker their subjectivity and the lower their creativity and sense of responsibility.

Even though the private enterprises in China have indeed increased their costs because of the improvement of social security, we cannot simply blame the survival dilemma of private enterprises on the labor law that guarantees the basic welfare of workers. The predicament of private enterprises in China is caused by many factors, such as tax burden, credit, law enforcement environment, innovation ability and so on. It is immoral and unscientific to pin the idea of solving the difficulties of private enterprises on suppressing the low welfare of workers. At least for now, it is probably more practical to reduce tax burden and broaden credit than to deduct workers' social security. More importantly, under the pressure of economic downturn, it is not in line with the purpose and purpose of development to think of starting with workers when encountering difficulties. For a long time, workers in our country have little income and hard work, and they have never been parasites of welfare. They deserve better treatment and more respect.
