Dimension marking in mechanical system

There is no such stipulation as "frame" and "bracket" in the national standard of mechanical drawing, which is just a drawing habit.

For example, two identical axes are identical except one length and size. If it is to be represented by drawings, in addition to the basic size, it will be marked with this different length, and then the different sizes will be marked with brackets, and the total length is also the same. This additional label must have a written description, such as processing quantity, etc.

Similarly, if there is a "box" to indicate the size, there is also a text description. Sorry to say, I only used "brackets" instead of "box" size.

I answered "basic dimensions", but if I mean "form and position tolerance", that's another matter. "Machining Tolerance" is without brackets.
