Who says Koreans can't afford beef?

I'm Korean myself. It is not that Koreans can't afford beef. The per capita income is indeed several times that of China.

However, in the whole price market of South Korea, there is a trend opposite to that of China. Just like in China, imported food is more expensive than domestic food, while in Korea, imported fruits and meat and vegetables are cheaper than those produced in Korea.

Especially serious is beef. Koreans have attached great importance to beef since ancient times. During the Korean dynasty, it was forbidden to kill cattle except those that died naturally. South Korea is mostly mountainous, and the breed of cattle is yellow cattle. They have worked in the mountains since childhood, and the meat is very good. This A-class domestic cattle is very expensive, not only in 20 yuan, but also in 200 yuan. Equivalent to a very high-end product, the price of Grade A cattle in China is very high, although it is not as high as that in 200 yuan, which is about 70~80 yuan.

So in China, we also go to famous western restaurants to cook steaks, all of which are Grade A scalpers or Australian beef.

In South Korea, the price in Han Niu is relatively high, so eating Australian beef and American beef is the most common.

These are cheaper, about a kilo in 50 yuan (I have never seen a kilo of beef from 20 yuan in Korea). The average wage of Koreans is about RMB 1 10,000 a month, so the average person can buy 200 kg of imported beef (Korea 1 kg is 600g) and 50 kg of Han Niu. If you say a catty of beef in 20 yuan, it may be beef made in China.

So it's not that I can't afford beef. When I lived in Korea, I ate beef almost every day for 30 days. It may be imported, but Han Niu sometimes eats it once when I want to. . . Just like I live in Beijing now and eat roast duck occasionally.

However, in South Korea, talking about Han Niu is equivalent to a relatively advanced dietary material, but beef is generally considered as a diet that imported beef will not feel expensive, and the price of crabs in South Korea is also relatively cheap; ;
