Why do people keep shouting patriotism, but still chase Japanese and Korean dramas?

Anyone with a little theoretical knowledge will know that this is an absurd question. Whether to watch Japanese or Korean dramas has nothing to do with patriotism. Patriotism is not superficial. Patriotism should always be remembered in our hearts. Having a country in your heart is patriotism. It's nonsense in words.

A hundred rivers are full of tolerance. This is a fine tradition of our country. A country must tolerate bad voices. Even different cultures should be given due respect, rather than blindly resisting. In that case, it is meaningless and will only make others feel that a country does not even have basic inclusiveness. Just like the Diaoyu Islands incident some time ago, many people who thought they were patriotic began to smash Japanese cars and boycott Japanese goods. Such behavior is really irrational. True patriots don't do this. Patriotism must be rational.

Now many people in China like to watch Korean and Japanese dramas, which also gives the sprayers a chance to start spraying indiscriminately. They think such behavior is unpatriotic, but they never think about why. Don't always blame others. More importantly, we should find the reason from ourselves. More and more people like to watch Japanese dramas and Korean dramas, which actually shows that the competitiveness of China TV dramas has begun to decline. A big reason is that bad dramas are frequent and everyone doesn't want to watch them. If we improve the quality of our TV dramas, then not so many people will choose to watch Japanese and Korean dramas.

So watching Japanese dramas and Korean dramas has nothing to do with loving patriotism. Although it is not feasible to worship foreign things blindly, we can learn from them to make up for our own shortcomings.
