In a bad mood, tell a joke.
The method is simple. First of all, you need to prepare a few simple sentences, such as this popular nursery rhyme:
I found a penny by the roadside,
Give it to the police uncle,
Uncle took the money and nodded to me.
I said happily, "Goodbye, Uncle."
Then open the online translation tool and translate this passage into Japanese, Japanese into Russian, French, Spanish, Arabic ... and finally into Chinese. In this way, I turned around in the world of language, and then changed a word or two slightly, and this nursery rhyme became like this:
I bought this horse for a penny.
The police uncle's hand is in his hand.
Uncle, my head is saving money.
My voice said: hello, uncle.
A post-modern avant-garde poem was born in this way! It is worth mentioning that this is a poem with an international vision, and every word of it retains the unique grammar and structure of the major language families in the world. After reading it several times, I found that it is really a good poem that can be met but not sought. I couldn't help reading a little—
"I bought a horse for a penny" is a stroke of genius. "Horse" is the embodiment of some idealism, but it can only be bought for a penny. This is similar to the title of Mao Mu's novel The Moon and Sixpence, which compares the metaphysical (one penny, sixpence) with the metaphysical (a horse, the moon) and expresses a subtle and affectionate criticism.
The meaning of "the hand in the hand of the police uncle" is obvious. The police uncle means an authority, and "hand in hand" is a vivid description of this authority. It is easy to think of the image of the ruler with his hands behind his back. He didn't say a word, but he seemed ready to give orders.
"My uncle" pointed out my relationship with the police, which may be blood relationship, but it is more likely to be spiritual, because we always tend to regard an authority as our relatives. As Fromm said in his book Escape from Freedom, freedom is something that most people are afraid to avoid. In the sentence "My head is saving money", the horse as a spiritual symbol no longer exists. All I can think of is "saving money", because "saving money" (a symbol of restraint and patience) can only conform to the logic of "police uncle".
So, naturally, the last voice came out: "Hello, uncle". This is flattery to the police uncle who "has his hand in his hand", which symbolizes a complete surrender and compromise.
Judging from the melody, this poem also has some merits. The word "uncle" appears in two or three sentences, and "mine" appears three times in three or four sentences. This sense of rhythm tries to tell a heavy theme in a brisk way. On the one hand, it highlights the lofty status of "uncle" and emphasizes my timidity and entanglement. On the other hand, it officially isolated the first poem "I bought a horse for a penny", which made the image of "horse" more and more lonely and desperate.
Of course, any interpretation is a misunderstanding. What I'm saying is just my personal superficial feelings. Finally, if you think this poem is not obscure enough, I suggest you translate the original poem into small languages, such as Azerbaijani, Haitian Creole whisper, Slovenian and so on. And then translate it back into Chinese, the effect will definitely be much better.
