Changing destiny through scientific research was a feasible way in ancient times. China's imperial examination system has a long history. It originated in the Han Dynasty and Sui Dynasty, and it was not until the Guangxu period of 1905 that China's scientific research system, which lasted for more than 1300 years, came to an end. But in ancient times, scientific research was the best way for poor students to change their social status. Jin Fan's life has been so depressed that even his wife and father-in-law look down on him. This gave Jin Fan a great psychological blow and pressure to some extent. However, he was still stubborn and unwilling to pursue fame and fortune, and finally ushered in a good news in the next year. Jin Fan was ecstatic until he went crazy. Wu described in his book that he was so surprised that he fell down and laughed again. Ran out of the door, finally slipped and fell into the mire. My hair is messy and my hands are covered with mud. I'm going crazy.

Seeing this, you may think that the description is too exaggerated, but when a person who has lived in a depressed and painful environment for a long time knows what he has tried for decades but failed to achieve in a period of time, what will your state be? In a sense, what Wu writes is actually a true reflection of his own living condition. The difference is that Wu was born in a rich family environment, just because he was not good at managing and collecting money, and he finally squandered his property.
