On November 8, 2018, I was sitting in a closed unit when a phone call came from the sky.

A woman's voice asked: "Are you so-and-so?"

"What's the phone number of your work unit?" ?”

“How come you don’t know your work number?” the woman said.

"I really don't know. I usually use a small number to communicate."

"That's it, your credit card owes our bank one hundred thousand yuan..."

"Ah! What did you say? Say it again." I said.

"Your credit card owes our bank one hundred thousand yuan..." the woman said again.

I was furious: "I have never used a credit card, how can I owe you money? Don't call me again in the future!!!"

To be honest, I have not used a credit card at all this year. I have applied for one in previous years, but I have canceled it.

When my colleagues saw me getting angry, they all said, this must be a liar and they should ignore her. I also thought this was a scam call, but I still felt very unhappy. I carefully recalled the year and month when my credit card was canceled. Where could there be any loopholes? How is it possible to have an overdraft of 100,000? The overdraft limit cannot be reached.

After a while, the phone rang again.

Thinking of this, I stopped panicking. The tricks of scammers are so low-level and outdated, why should I panic?

Let me tell you an online joke: Yesterday, at noon, I received a text message: Please transfer money to this account XXX. Half an hour later I replied: Five thousand yuan has been deposited, please check. The next day, I received: "I've made three trips to the bank, you liar."

Just because I don’t talk to liars doesn’t mean that liars don’t talk to me. I have been loved and closely targeted by scammers. The text messages continued to come.

Deceiving is the specialty of deceivers. They are experts in this area. Don't compete with them. If you really compete, you are really no match for them. They will use the weapons of economics, sociology, and psychology to deal with you, an unarmed idiot. What's more, they are often a team and you are alone.

So, wait and see what happens and ignore it.

As of today, I have not received any more text messages from the scammer. Maybe the scammer is already disappointed with me.

People, or use "invisible support", such as hints to customers, that this kind of product is very popular and many people have bought it.

There are also many liars who are very beautiful and weak girls. For example, these girls will knock on your door and sell you some items that are not good or not needed at all, and many male owners will donate generously. Psychological surveys show that people tend to believe the words of the opposite sex more deeply than those of the same sex. Weak girls are more able to inspire protectiveness and sympathy from the opposite sex.

Scammers will also take advantage of people's superstitious psychology, such as superstition in hidden rules, superstition in feng shui, superstition in secret recipes, etc. to make people fall into traps.

In the past, I always thought that as long as you remember that pie does not fall in the sky, there is no free lunch in the world, and people cannot get rich overnight, and if you are not greedy or take advantage, you will not be fooled. Now it seems that it is not that simple, and the tricks of scammers are constantly changing.

The Tao is one foot high, and the devil is one foot high. Scammers’ tricks are hard to guard against.

There are many people in life, big or small, who have experienced being deceived more or less.

Some people say: There are too many fools and not enough liars.

Why?

The root cause is that there is a problem with cultural education. Parents like obedient children, teachers instill knowledge into students, leaders like obedient subordinates, etc. As a result, people do not have the ability to think independently and the spirit of critical questioning. To use our vernacular: there are many people who have been "lack" of essence.

Since it is a lie, it must be fake and there must be loopholes.
