A versatile grandfather

My grandfather is over seventy years old and an old urchin. Grandpa was a people's teacher when he was young, and he especially liked observing insects and growing flowers. Grandpa looks quite ordinary: tall, bald, with a wide mouth, always smiling at others.

Grandpa doesn't know everything, but he knows a little. Grandpa's calligraphy is very beautiful. Every stroke and every painting is so serious. Both hard and soft pens are well written. This may be inherited from my grandfather. My mother and I write very well, but no one can compare with my grandfather. Grandpa's paintings are lifelike and feel ingenious. No matter the birds in the sky, the grass on the ground or the fish in the water, Grandpa can draw very well. The most admirable thing is grandpa's ability to make insect specimens. Once, my grandfather came to my house, and I played chess and chatted with him. I was very happy. After dinner, grandpa told me jokes. One night, my grandfather went out for a walk and caught a butterfly with bright wings. After returning home, my grandfather found a tissue box, tape paper and a tack. The tissue box has become a display box for specimens, and tacks are used to fix butterflies. I saw him cut and paste for a while. Grandpa also showed me the specimens he had made for many years: cicadas, butterflies, longicorn beetles, dragonflies, small crabs, small sea snakes and seahorses. ...

Grandpa also has his own low-carbon life. He collects water for the day and flushes the toilet at night. He also advocated that we buy food with a vegetable basket.

Grandpa's versatility comes from his diligence. When we watch TV, sleep late and have fun, grandpa often sits on the balcony of the study and quietly studies various arts. This is my dear grandfather, and I want to pass on his artistic culture from generation to generation.
