How to balance the grinding wheel statically?

1. Put the grinding wheel on the balance frame and turn the grinding wheel. When the grinding wheel is unbalanced, it will stop at the heavy end, and the heaviest end of the grinding wheel is at the bottom. At this point, make a mark on the flange with chalk.

2. Install a balance weight at the position marked by chalk, turn the screw counterclockwise, and gently clamp the balance weight in the groove of the flange.

3. Rotate the grinding wheel 180 degrees, install a counterweight at the left and right position from the chalk mark 120 degrees, turn the screw counterclockwise, and gently clamp the counterweight in the groove of the flange.

4. Rotate the grinding wheel 90 degrees to make the marked chalk mark in a horizontal position, and then release your hand.

A. When rotating clockwise, move the B and C balance weights in opposite directions by the same angle as shown in the figure.

B. When rotating counterclockwise, move the B and C counterweights in the opposite direction by the same angle as shown in the figure, and adjust the hand to leave the grinding wheel and stand still.
