Tang Poetry and the Development of Song Poetry

In the Tang Dynasty, it had various forms and complicated contents. When reading Tang poetry, I felt very happy and at a loss. This shows that people's appreciation of art should be innovative and changeable. It is impossible to ask people to go back to the old, from complex to simple. There is almost no way out for the development of Tang poetry, but Song people can still find out some links that Tang people don't pay attention to and try to expand their functions. Especially in terms of writing, it fully shows a new look and new interest and becomes something that the public likes to see and hear.

From this point of view, it is unreasonable to say that Song poetry is not good today, and it is unreasonable to restore Tang poetry and Han and Wei poetry. Today, we should absorb the strengths of these poems and avoid their weaknesses. More importantly, we should try our best to make use of the old advantages and brew new products.

People who used to talk about poetry often had the view of "being a slave" to the portal of poetry in Tang and Song Dynasties. In the early Qing Dynasty, only Ye Xie had an excellent sentence in the original poem. He said: a poet must first have a feeling, then have a mind, and then make words, sentences and chapters. When feeling, whether it's meaning, words or sentences, it's all out of thin air. Writing about feelings, scenery and things from the heart is something that no one has said before. Both the author and the reader are willing to appreciate and think about such poems. If the same meaning, the same word, the same sentence appears several times, and it is still a cliche, it must be very annoying. Things in the sky and underground are getting more and more complicated. People's wisdom and mind are endless, but the ancients only used a few, and they need the inspiration and application of future generations. Heaven and earth are infinite, and people's wisdom and mind will never be exhausted.

There are always different opinions about the melody of Tang poetry and Song poetry. In all fairness, the realm of Tang poetry has developed, and Song people can no longer stick to the rules and follow the trend. Moreover, Song Ci has made new achievements in a branch of Ci, so poetry has to set up a portal and keep a considerable distance from Ci. Therefore, Song poetry does not take the face of Tang poetry, but generally pays attention to momentum and participates in discussions. Although it is called poetry, it is close to literature, and naturally it is not. Although it can't be said that Tang poetry is better than Song poetry, Tang poetry is the ancestor who started the inheritance, and Song poetry is the successor of other schools. Although future generations can't fall into the family style, they are not as good as their ancestors. This should always be the view about the rise and fall of poetry and Taoism.

As for picking a few songs by chance, I can't say that the Song poetry is not good. Pan Deyu once quoted the poem of the Song Dynasty poet "Snow doesn't rain, and the wind blows it away, which is sunny" and compared it with the poem of the Ming Dynasty poet "Summer doesn't rain, and the sunset blooms". Although the poems of Ming Dynasty are as simple as those of Tang Dynasty, they are not as tortuous as those of Song Dynasty. They are self-contained, elegant and powerful This is a correct and fair evaluation of Song poetry.

The epochal nature of works of art cannot be concealed under any circumstances. That is to say, in terms of calligraphy, in the past 500 years, the characters of people in the early Qing Dynasty are not like those of people in the Ming Dynasty, those in the Qianlong period, those in the Daoguang period, and those who are close to the people are not like those in the late Qing Dynasty. Although you can't know ancient poems like people, you can get a general idea by reading more. The poets in the middle of Ming Dynasty imitated the style of the prosperous Tang Dynasty, which was very realistic. But if you press it carefully, you will only have the tone of the prosperous Tang Dynasty, and there is no taste of the prosperous Tang Dynasty. For example, people with clothes are good, but their attitude is not, and people with discerning eyes will not be fooled. Looking up, Song people occasionally have poems similar to those of the Tang Dynasty, but they may not imitate them deliberately. Then, their attitudes may be somewhat similar, but their clothes are not decorated. Yang Shen once told a joke that he quoted two poems of the poet. One is: "Ling Hua has a bright and beautiful knot, and Gong Xue wears makeup and is tired of snow. The wind blows the cool shadows, and the faint sparse clouds face the slanting moon. " One is: "smoke is thousands of miles away, and white incense is scattered from the east wind." At dusk in Jiangzhou, it is as tender as water. "At that time, He Jingming advocated Tang poetry the most and didn't read Song poetry the most. Yang Shen asked He Jingming: "What era do you think this poem is?" He Jingming said, "It belongs to the Tang people." Yang Shen smiled and said, "This is the last song poem you want to see. "

It's ridiculous that He Jingming judges the form, but he is not good at observing it. In fact, Yang and He Jingming are also at fault. Although such poems are invisible in the collections of famous poets in the Song Dynasty, they cannot be said to be Tang poems just because they are not Song Like's poems. Look closely, the wind is cool and the clouds are light and the wind is light. The meaning of the sentence is not dignified enough, but the tenderness remains the same, more like a word than a Tang poem, which is always caused by the strong taste of Tang poetry and the weak taste of later poems. He Jingming said: It's not bad to look at it carefully, but it's not unreasonable.
