Do you really believe that diligence can make up for it? Why?

I believe that diligence can make up for the deficiency. As the saying goes, stupid birds fly first. I think this sentence is very reasonable. Since you are not smart enough and want the same result, isn't it fair that you make more efforts first? Diligence can make up for the wrong truth and can be applied to most things in this world. Because laziness is the biggest enemy of a person's success.
