Joke Blizzard

This sentence can be simply divided into two questions:

Is there a better way out for Blizzard besides being acquired?

If Blizzard is acquired, is there a better acquirer than Disney?

It is difficult to give clear answers to these two questions, and no one can predict what will happen later. I can only say some of my own opinions.

Blizzard's current dilemma is that the company's development is seriously frustrated. The only new tour really released in recent years is Watching Pioneer. Although the global market performance is acceptable, it is a total loss in the huge China market.

Other released games are mostly remastered versions of old games. Although many fans feel "really fragrant", in the final analysis, they are still spending their feelings and cannot attract more new players.

At present, the only "cash cow" that Blizzard relies on is the hearthstone legend. However, hearthstone legend has its limitations. The randomness is high, and it is difficult to go on the road of e-sports. The gap between old and new players is too big and they rely too much on recharge. These problems lead hearthstone legend to become a game that only recognizes old players.

In such a difficult situation, apart from being acquired, what road can Blizzard take?

As far as I'm concerned, the only way for Blizzard is to put all your eggs in one basket to develop a new large-scale game and replicate the success of World of Warcraft in those years, but this way is too risky, and one of them may even lose the treatment of being acquired. Besides, even such a big thing is not decided by Blizzard. In the era of mobile games, the success of World of Warcraft is also difficult to replicate.

Finally, is there a better choice than Disney? I can't say that. Disney has bought countless companies, and the development momentum of these companies can only be said to be ok. There's nothing more embarrassing than Vivendi.

As for Tencent, as someone said, although Tencent is good to its subsidiaries, Tencent is willing to buy it, but Netease is not willing to … just listen as a joke.

At present, Blizzard has no better way out.
