Sophie's world: the story of a rabbit and two girls

I read Sophie's World for the first time twenty years ago, and I always thought it was a brisk youth novel until I opened the cover page. Sophie's name has exposed the young age of cardamom, and her world can't be imagined except Seeds of Love.

Although this book is highly recommended by my friends, I didn't take it seriously in my heart. I only borrowed it from the library because I didn't want to disappoint my friends. I thought it would help me to understand the girl's scheming.

Opening the first page of the text, I suddenly found myself wrong and misunderstood my friend's conscience recommendation. This is indeed a good book and a serious introductory novel of philosophy, which is very important for young people who are in the period of establishing their outlook on life and world.

To tell you the truth, I admire the wisdom of Jostan Gard, who has integrated many philosophical problems into novels with plot as the focus. He is really a genius. The advantage of this approach lies in hiding the boring and obscure philosophy and highlighting the urgency and suspense of finding and solving problems. In order to understand Sophie's world, we must study and review it carefully until we get into Sophie's heart and get used to the colors in Sophie's eyes.

Sophie's kind, clever, unconstrained style and pure thoughts are not polluted. Instilling her with philosophical questions is easy to produce * * * sounds. Fourteen-year-old is a crucial period for the formation of the three views. Sophie was lucky to meet a mysterious philosophy teacher. Otherwise, Sophie's world is a dark adult makeup, and she falls into the trap of her mother's submission without any suspense, without thinking, curiosity and philosophy.

Sophie's World mainly tells the story of a rabbit and two girls. Rabbits are equivalent to the world we live in, while two girls are innocent in different worlds. During this period, a lot of philosophical thinking was interspersed. The famous philosopher BLACKPINK appeared in history. From Socrates, Plato, Aristotle to Schopenhauer, Marx and Nietzsche, there are ideological inheritance and traditional subversion. This book is actually teaching readers the tortuous development of philosophical problems and trying to guide people to think deeply about their own lives and the world in which they live. What we saw with our own eyes may not be true, but what we experienced with our own eyes may only be others' dreams of Conan.

We use philosophy to think about larger life, and use philosophy to study the problem of cosmic scale and solve "who are we and where do we come from?" Confused. We are like elves living on the white rabbit, always trying to figure out how the magician pulled the white rabbit out of his hat. Philosophers try their best to climb up the rabbit hair and climb to the highest place in order to see clearly, while people at the bottom only pay attention to things directly related to their lives and have been numbly adapted to everything in the world. They can eat and drink enough, have fun, and have a romantic love. This life is enough. What does that brain-burning philosophical question have to do with me? It is not surprising that how the rabbit was pulled out is just a joke and entertainment for them.

Magic is a cover-up. It looks dazzling, but we know it's fake. What comes out is either hidden in the arm or hidden in the fat cuff. The result of long-term training has created a magician's unparalleled technique, which is as fast as lightning and confuses the audience. However, if we carefully observe and understand, we can still explore the mystery, because we and magicians belong to the same world. But from a microscopic point of view, there is a smaller human life in the rabbit pulled out of the hat by the magician. They certainly don't understand the subtleties of magic easily. This is exactly the puzzle we have been facing when exploring the origin of the universe.

Sophie and Sid, two unknown little girls, one lives in a book, the other lives outside the book, the other is the protagonist in the book, and the other is a scholar, reading the life of the protagonist. Sophie's life has been manipulated. Sid's father can arrange and design her plot at will. What will she eat today? Where to go tomorrow? And often insert some "tricks", there is no personal will, no freedom to choose, no room to decorate at will, all the purpose is just to please Sid and have a unique birthday for Sid. Who can tell the story in the play and the life outside the book clearly? Which is the world?

Just like Zhuang Zhou's dream butterfly, is the subject of the dream a person or a butterfly? Did people dream of butterflies or did butterflies dream of meeting people?

The question of whether chickens lay eggs or eggs lay chickens often makes people feel at a loss. In the field of science, the law of the development of things is clear and definite, but philosophical problems are full of contradictions, puzzling predictions and cyclical causes and effects everywhere. From a scientific point of view, whether God created man or the world created God is an unsolved problem, because with scientific rigor, the conclusion must come from full argumentation, but at the beginning of the universe, no one was present, so it was impossible to see it with one's own eyes, and billions of years later, there was little evidence left at that time. Therefore, this question is left to philosophy to think about.

People's cognition of the world is extensive and radiates to the surroundings. With the increase of experience, the depth and breadth of cognition expand. Compared with adults, children's knowledge is a small circle, floating around in the world of adults, seemingly weak and naive, but in fact it is full of the power to explore the world, making adults feel ashamed and far behind. How many adults care about this power? The curiosity and freshness it expresses are often interpreted by adults as weakness, which is a stage that must be experienced before becoming one of them. I refuse to admit that knowledge is only the accumulation of time, but curiosity is the most precious quality.

So the final philosophical confrontation in Sophie's world was handed over to two little girls. Sophie and Sid have the same age, similar experiences, even the same birthday, read the same books and have the same source of philosophical knowledge. What is more commendable is that they broke the mystery of their respective worlds and felt each other's existence.

However, what can you do with ginseng? The insignificance of human beings lies not in the poverty of thought, nor in the limitation of scale. Smallness is relative to the vastness of the universe, which is not only infinite in breadth, but also infinite in circulation, and is linked one by one. We are just tiny particles in one of the rings.

As you can imagine, there are people on every ring. People with big rings yearn for the exquisiteness of small rings, while people with small rings yearn for the grandeur of big rings and attract each other, which has become the driving force for studying the universe and existence. One day, they will realize this grand wish and walk into each other's world.

Just like a besieged city, people outside the city want to go in and people in the city want to come out, but separated by a wall, they are two completely different thinking. The fence has been knocked down, and those who want to go in miss the tranquility of the countryside, while those who want to come out remember the convenience of the city. The existence of the besieged city not only isolates the living conditions inside and outside the city, but also blocks the thoughts in the depths of the soul. What drives people to experience different experiences is rare curiosity. After the wall was torn down, the absolute unknown became a relative understanding. The result of the comparison is that the unbearable in front of us is infinitely magnified, standing side by side with the good in the past, and judging the pros and cons.

Sophie finally entered Sid's world, but the basic laws of the two worlds are different. Sophie is floating like a ghost, only seeing and listening, not touching and using.

After solving the mystery, Sophie misses her rabbit again.
