Composition National Day Chengdu Travel Notes

1. Is it better for the ancient city of Langzhong to have nothing to do with the past and the present?

The ancient city of Langzhong is the tomb of Zhang Fei of the Three Kingdoms, and many Chinese people know about it. I went there during the National Day holiday this year and it was really crowded with tourists. But after the trip, I felt that compared with its reputation, it was not satisfactory. First of all, the ancient city has lost a lot of its ancient flavor; secondly, some matchbox buildings still stand in the ancient city, which is really a beautiful sight. I hope that the leaders of Langzhong will make up their minds and bear the pain to remove the purple box buildings in the ancient city. I personally think that even Langzhong No. 1 Middle School, the highest educational institution, should be moved to a proper position. After all, it touched the spiritual energy of Zhang Fei's tomb, making the tomb ancient but not ancient. If Master Zhang was still alive, how could he allow so many modern students to make noise next to his bed? In a fit of rage, he would destroy it all. I think it's better not to mess with the majestic Mr. Zhang in "No. 1 Middle School". The simplest way is to open the school gate in another direction and give up 30 to 50 meters of street frontage, so that the modern landscape in the ancient city will have less content. After all, there was no middle school near Zhang Fei’s burial place at that time! As for urban planning and urban management, it is worth visiting Huanglong River and other places, even Pingle Ancient Town. Of course, Langzhong is so famous that those small places are not worth learning. But my original intention is still good for Langzhong, and I have absolutely no ill intentions. Then again, if Zhang Fei were still alive, he would want to live a modern and comfortable life. This is human nature. The problem is that if you want to use the ancient Zhang Fei to engage in tourism and develop the tourism economy, the people who live next to him cannot live too modern lives. At least the streets and alleys of the ancient city, or even the area of ??one or two hundred meters, must be freed up to plant some ancient trees, as well as the famous "Zhang Feibai". If you want to live a modern life, you can stay away from the antiques and go wherever you want! It is best to give people the feeling that ancient and modern times are unrelated to each other. Of course, water, electricity, water supply and drainage should be designed according to modern standards. Especially the flushing toilet and flushing toilet in the bathroom, which Zhang Fei never dared to think about, should be modernized. Because these visitors allow you to fake things reasonably. Antiques are for modern people to reminisce about the past, while facilities are for modern people to enjoy. If you still build a dry toilet with a hole dug under two stone slabs, Mr. Zhang could bear it back then, but those who pay tribute in modern times cannot. However, any modern facilities should be hidden enough not to affect the overall ancient flavor. From Langzhong to Cangxi, roads are being built along the way. It is understandable that the roads are muddy and have many potholes. However, it is incomprehensible that there are many toll stations but they charge little at all. Doesn’t the road maintenance fee paid by each car not include the road reconstruction fee? The relevant departments in the province must also take care of these matters. Once the road was ruined, I no longer had the intention to see the scenery. In addition, the tolls along the way were constantly being paid, which completely wiped out the old flavor and excitement of Langzhong. Tourist spots and transportation charges are at odds with each other, and one day the door will be deserted, and advertising will no longer work. At a time when the modern tourism craze is on the rise, it is better for the leaders of the two counties and cities to take a long-term view and not to hold on to a treasure and insist on turning it into a pile of dirt that no one cares about. After walking on the muddy road, on the left bank of the Jialing River, a town with many high-rise buildings appeared in front of us. I think it was Cangxi County. Before entering the city, a majestic sculpture first appeared on the cliff on the right side of the road. The sculpture is of a Red Army soldier flying from the bow of a red ferry towards the other side. It turns out that this was the first ferry crossing the Jialing River when the Fourth Red Army set out from Tongnanba in 1935 and headed for the Songpan and Aba areas in northwest Sichuan. There is already a memorial hall and a monument here, and they are being renovated for people to pay their respects and to leave a permanent memorial for future generations.

2. Cangxi, a beautiful mountainous county

After passing the first ferry of the Red Army, we officially entered the city. Cangxi County is well-renovated, with row upon row of new buildings. All the buildings are built next to the river and close to the mountains. Along the Jialing River, there is a wide riverside park, which makes people feel that Cangxi today is indeed different from what it used to be. You know, in mountainous areas like Cangxi, even in county towns, it is very difficult to find a large piece of flat land. To build such a park, we must first carefully build river embankments and barriers from the rubble on the bank of the Jialing River, and then use man-made riverside flat land. We must first consider building roads wide enough to allow smooth traffic. If there is Only the extra land can be used to build riverside parks. The park that has been built now, in terms of design and construction, is no less than the riverside parks built in big cities. From then on, people in this mountainous area, whether city dwellers or mountain dwellers, had a good place to relax once they came to the city. You can also enjoy the modern leisure life that only people living in big cities could enjoy in the past. I'm so happy for them.

After setting off from Cangxi, the weather gradually cleared up and the road conditions were better. The road was built halfway up the mountain. Although it was not wide, it was very flat. Although there are many curves, the lane lines are very clear and eye-catching. As long as you drive according to the rules, driving is very safe. Our driver is a good friend of the children. He is skilled in driving and drives at the appropriate speed. The autumn weather is crisp, neither hot nor cold, the air is fresh and the view is wide. I don’t feel tired at all from the long drive. Looking at the mountains in the distance, the dark green peaks of large and small pyramids are continuous. On the opposite mountainside, farmhouses with white walls and blue tiles are dotted among them. The vibrant mountainous scenery is clearly presented to my eyes. I really can't get enough of it. I was thinking, how refreshing it would be if I could set up tables and chairs on the roadside, rest, and drink a few sips of freshly brewed tea! ... Our car drove through mountain after mountain, bend after bend, and the scenery we saw left the word "backcountry" in my past impression far behind. I looked far ahead and could see farther and higher mountains and ridges, all covered in gray. Those high mountains and ridges are probably the Qinling Mountains, right? In the sky over the mountains in the distance, there are white clouds flying continuously, and there are thick clouds below. I remembered that when I was studying geography, my teacher once said that the Qinling Mountains and the Huaihe River are the watershed between the climate of northern and southern my country. I was watching TV while having dinner last night. CCTV also forecast that there would be heavy to heavy rain in southern Shaanxi today. If it really rains, it means it rains in the north of the mountain and is sunny in the south! What I learned in middle school was finally confirmed after decades. Looking at the terraced fields in the mountains, farmers are happily harvesting rice. This is a scene that appeared in the Chengdu Plain a month ago. Today, one month later, it reappeared in this high and cold mountainous area. The joy of the harvest of the farmers can be deeply felt by us passers-by. After entering the boundary of Guangyuan, the mountain topography changed significantly. The large and small pyramids on the top of the mountain on the opposite side are gone, and have become continuous ripples. Our road also rises from the mountainside to the ridge, and the bends are significantly reduced. In recent years, large-scale afforestation and mountain closure have achieved results. The trees all over the mountains and plains grow lush and green. The road is hidden among the green trees, and the farmhouse with white walls and clear tiles flashes by from time to time. This beautiful road makes the entire mountainous area beautiful. Good roads, green mountains, white walls with green tiles, bunches of corn hanging in the courtyard, yellow and orange rice being harvested in the fields... Isn't this what I most want to see when traveling during the National Day holiday? Scenery? It is a pity to travel without swimming, and it is even more regrettable to see things but not people. This trip was well worth it.

3. Missing for decades___Alma mater Guangzhong

After passing Yuanba Town, we entered Guangyuan City in the blink of an eye. As a former student of Guangyuan Middle School, I always want to go back to my alma mater. It’s been 40 or 50 years since I left, and I haven’t made an appointment in advance, so my teacher and old classmates will definitely not be able to see each other again. However, I still want to go to the school to have a look, to look for the traces that remain from decades ago, to feel nostalgic and to comfort me for those decades. My children and grandchildren who were traveling with me knew what I was thinking. Even though they had already passed the intersection into the school, they still turned two corners, asked for directions again, and drove to the school gate. The first thing I saw was the solemn and elegant red marble school sign, placed horizontally in front of the tall school gate, which made me feel excited. Looking into the school gate, there is a beautiful building on the front, with "Academic Hall" on the right and "Science and Technology Museum" on the left. There are many brand-new buildings in the school. After entering the school gate, there are several basketball courts neatly arranged on the left, where many students are playing basketball. The campus roads are wide and lined with green trees. The garden-shaped pool and several special-shaped flower beds in front of the academic hall look elegant and sophisticated. I lost myself in memories, searching for old objects, like a tree or a house. Before the car stopped, I noticed that the direction of the school gate had changed. The original school gate faced Nanshan, but now it faces the west. I finally found a huge black locust tree with a number nailed on it by the road to the left of the Science and Technology Museum. I believe that this black locust tree was planted on the roadside of the school by teachers and classmates in the fall of 1953 or the beginning of spring 1954. Because in the next four or five years, we planted many trees on campus, but we never cut down the locust trees. I took a photo with my grandson and granddaughter under the ancient black locust tree, which gave me some comfort in my desire to trace the past. Then I took photos in the academic hall, at the gate, and in front of the school recruitment. Since it was getting late, I reluctantly left. In the car, the children said to me: Dad, the style of your school is not like that of a middle school. Even some colleges and universities in Chengdu cannot keep up. After hearing this, in front of the children, I suddenly felt a sense of glory in my heart.

At this time, I was secretly recalling... Yes! When I was studying at Guangzhou Middle School, Guangzhou Middle School was a key middle school in northern Sichuan. In our grade, there were students from Jiange, Cangxi, Qingchuan, Wangcang, as well as Pingwu and Beichuan in Gansu. The teaching quality of Guangzhou Middle School is high, the school spirit is good, and the college entrance examination admission rate ranks among the best in the province every year. I also thought about it quietly for a moment. The alma mater that I will never forget in my life is now very grand and has a high reputation both inside and outside Sichuan. Even the children were full of praise when they saw it for the first time...but the children This comparison is wrong, because my alma mater is still a middle school. It is responsible for teaching at the middle school level and cannot be compared with colleges and universities. Thinking of this, my excitement slowly calmed down.

Sichaotianguan Mingyue Gorge___its pass is a gorge and its gorge is a pass

The car passes along the old Nanhe Road at the foot of Dongshan and drives towards the north gate of the old Guangyuan City, because we are going to Mingyue Gorge tour in Chaotianguan. After exiting the North Gate, passing Thousand Buddha Cliff, we got on the highway that leads directly to Chaotian Pass. Going up the Jialing River, we soon arrived at the world-famous Chaotian Pass. The real name of Chaotianguan is well-deserved. There are Qingfeng Gorge and Mingyue Gorge here. It is said that there is a clear breeze above the head and a bright moon under the feet. Since it was already past four o'clock in the afternoon, we only visited Mingyue Gorge. I saw that Mingyue Gorge was originally a high stone mountain, but it was forced to create a gap by the water of the Jialing River. On the steep cliff with a gap of about 500 to 600 meters on both sides of the bank, even the birds have to be careful to stand. The surprise of Mingyue Gorge lies in the dizzying rapids of the river, and the danger lies in the straight cliffs on both sides of the river that plunge directly into the river. Its pass is a gorge, and its gorge is a pass. There is no need for human construction, it is a natural achievement. If humans and animals want to pass through, once they fall into the rapids of the river, they will become food for fish and shrimps. Because the mountains here are connected with each other, and each mountain is higher than the other. There is really no way to find it among the countless high mountains and ridges. The only way to get in and out of Sichuan is along the bank of the Jialing River. Once you arrive at the Qingfeng Mingyue Second Gorge of Chaotian Pass, you can only sigh with excitement at Wang Gorge. In ancient times, square holes were cut horizontally on the steep wall, square timbers were installed horizontally, supports were placed on the lower side, and planks were laid on the upper side. This was called a plank road. To facilitate the passage of pedestrians, soldiers and horses, this is the famous ancient plank road. Even in the 20th century, the only feasible option for building the Sichuan-Shaanxi Highway was to dig holes along the Qingfeng and Mingyue Gorges along the river. Because the rock is too hard, the hole dug can only accommodate the height of the car body. The path opened is only a one-way path. After liberation, it was expanded several times, but it was just a two-way street. During this tour, cars drove back and forth on this section of the road, their bodies appearing and disappearing in the cliff cavity. Since a new road has been opened on Sichuan-Shaanxi Road, there are very few vehicles and driving is relatively safe. The Baocheng-Chengdu Railway on the other side also has tunnels connected one after another when it passes through Qingfeng Gorge and Mingyue Gorge. When it was designed, it was also the best plan to run along the river through the mouth of the gorge. However, there is a fee for visiting the ancient plank road under the highway. Since you have come from afar, you have to pay a visit! After walking on the plank road, you have to admire our ancestors. How much bravery and perseverance it took to build this road! Today you have to carry tools and wear a safety rope, stand on the steep wall for a while, look down at the rapids whirlpooling one after another at your feet, and you will immediately feel dizzy. The ancients used hand hammers to drill holes one after another. They had to drill two holes corresponding to the top and bottom in less than one meter. The difficulty can be imagined. Returning to Guangyuan City, the car drove straight to the foot of Nanshan Mountain, and then it became clear that Nanhe Bazi, which had been flooded for nineteen years, had become a new district of Guangyuan City. After walking like this, we realized that the current Guangyuan City starts from Yuanba in the east, ends at Shangxiaxiba in the west, and ends at the foot of Nanshan Mountain in the south. Its area is several times that of the original old city. The city is lined with high-rise buildings and roads extend in all directions. The many bridges built on the Nanhe River and the Jialing River are majestic and wide, giving the city unlimited space for further development. Guangyuan City has shown a completely new look.

5. Don’t let Xiongguan turn into a bustling city

Since the Chengdu-Guangzhou Expressway has been connected to Shaanxi, there are very few vehicles on Laochuan-Shaanxi Road. For the sake of nostalgia, we ran towards Jianmenguan along the old Sichuan-Shaanxi Highway. Not far after the car passed Shaxi Dam, we saw a new city being built in front of us. It was the new county seat of Jiange County built in Shangsi as reported in the newspaper. After crossing the bridge, Laochuanshan Road suddenly became beautiful. There are sign posts on the side of the road facing the river, with reflective films attached to them. The road is newly paved with asphalt and the lane lines are clear and eye-catching, making driving feel safe no matter day or night. It seems that Jiange County has made great efforts to develop the tourism resource of Jianmenguan. We arrived at Jianmen Town around 6 p.m. When we checked into the Jianmen Hotel, it was completely dark.

This hotel is large, but the facilities are old. Whether the windows or sanitary equipment, 70% of the time are broken. Nine out of 10 TVs in the room are broken, and they have a small black and white 14-inch screen. In Chengdu Sometimes they can be found in trash cans. There are no street lights on the street, so we have to look for restaurants according to the lights and solve the problem of dinner first. No need to ask, this first meal must be Jianmen Tofu. Twenty years ago, when my children were still in middle school, I took them on a trip here. In contrast, Jianmen Town was small and dilapidated at that time, with only one forest hotel, which is still open to the outside world today. Because it was full, we didn't stay. After dinner, I had to go to bed early. The next morning we had a clear view of our place. It is close to the pass and the terrain is wider. A new concrete road has been laid across the front of the hotel, but it has not yet been repaired. According to the hotel staff, no one is allowed to build houses in Jianmenguan Town, pending unified planning and reconstruction. The hotel is not allowed to make any repairs because it is considered to be demolished. It seems that Jiange County is going to make a big move to build Jianmen Pass as a "world-famous pass". Let’s wait and see! After breakfast, we went to the pass, and it was inevitable to go to Naxiongguan to climb the long road. Standing on a high place and looking around the pass, there was a huge flow of people. Beside the highway leading to the customs, the exterior wall tiles are pasted on the exterior walls of many restaurants and farmers, making them shine brightly. The large and small parking lots and the entrances of restaurants were filled with cars of all kinds, making it a lively town street. As a result, the "grand pass in the world" can no longer be "grand"! The pass between the high mountain walls is like a street between two tall buildings in the city. I sigh at this, oh wow, the world is so "magnificent"! What I see: If the Jiange County government really wants to make Jianmenguan a tourist hotspot, it should be ruthless and demolish the buildings that stand out from the "Xiongguan" and move them to Guannai Town to join in the fun. Not only must a majestic pass be "majestic", but it should also appear "barbaric" to set it off, without being interfered by buildings that should not exist. Moreover, it stands to reason that the outside of the customs should be full of "wildness". People should naturally feel that because it is "majestic" it is inaccessible, and because it is located in a place where disputes have been fought over the ages, people avoid it. How could it be like this today? It has become a commercial port where people are competing to make a living, live, and make a fortune! Even ordinary people have no choice but to go to places like Xiongguan in the world, so it is better to keep them jagged and jagged. Now that it is developed into a tourist area, tourists must still find the joy of climbing through the winding trails among the rocks and weeds. Personally experience the world's majestic pass tour, not only is it difficult to pass the pass, but it is also very difficult to get to the pass. This is called the "Tianxia Xiongguan" tour! When people look up, they can see the majesty of the mountains, but when they look down, they feel that it is difficult to move. Of course, you have to be measured and not put people off. This requires careful design and cannot be superfluous or artificial. If a tunnel can be dug, the decades-old highway can be rerouted and restored to its original appearance before the road was built. If it can be restored to the historical style of the Three Kingdoms period when Shu general Jiang Wei guarded Jianmen Pass, visitors can feel the rich historical origins of this pass. The journey is difficult and fun. To organize tourism, you have to add historical and cultural connotations. Jianmen Pass is an important pass that must be fought over in every battle. I have not verified it, but during the Three Kingdoms period, troops were indeed stationed for protection. Even in modern times, the Fourth Front Army of the Red Army captured the Pass and marched westward in April 1935. They liberated Sichuan in 1949. The People's Liberation Army that entered Sichuan also fought for this Pass. If you want to go ancient, you can ask historians for guidance, organize people in the scenic area, dress up as ancient soldiers, guard key passes, and adopt ancient camp management. At the same time, ancient officials will be used to maintain the safety and order of tourist routes and implement the past for the present. Through ancient official drills, ancient weapons and tactical training performances, we will enrich the historical and cultural connotation of tourism. During holidays, you can also practice imitating examples of ancient battles and organize offensive and defensive performances in front of the pass. It can also be equipped with sound, light and fireworks to allow people to appreciate the fun of ancient battles in front of the pass, which can greatly enrich tourists' historical knowledge. If this can be done, tourists will definitely flock to this place. If the organization is properly arranged, the number of tourists can last for a long time. Climbing a mountain requires physical exertion, which affects men, women, young and old, the weak and the strong. Therefore, you cannot design a route that only the strong can climb. Look at the Jiuzhaigou Valley and the dozens of kilometers of square gardens, allowing you to freely choose, appreciate and taste. If you don’t have enough energy, just get in the car! So everyone spent money without regrets and rushed to travel. ?

6. The essence of Jianmen Ancient Road tourism___Hiking Ancient Post Road

After passing Guangyuan, you can already see the numbered and famous trees along the way. "Zhang Feibai". Once you pass Jianmen Pass, the number, age, size, and strange shapes of cypresses are revealed. What a tourist resource this is! If we can make good use of it, we can really make the people of Jiange well off.

Excuse me? Not only in China, but also in the world, is there another such huge number of landscapes left by the ancients that are not only spectacular but can be viewed year after year? I remember that 20 years ago, I led my children who were still in junior high school, starting from Jianmenguan and walking along the ancient post road for more than 70 miles. In one day, I walked to Jiange City and walked along the Cuiyunlang ancient post road. , is up from the current landscape of Cuiyunlang. The post road is built along the ridge and is well preserved. It is three to five meters wide, with flat stone paths and stone steps paved along the way, which is very complete. The slope throughout the entire journey is small, so walking is suitable for both young and old. If you want to ride a horse, you can just gallop. If you want to ride a bicycle, it is not possible due to the many steps along the road. The huge branches and leaves of tens of thousands of ancient cypresses cover the stone road, standing beside the road like giant umbrellas. Some cypress leaves hang down to the ground and can be touched with one's hand. In some sections of the road, ancient cypresses are arranged continuously in sequence, some to the left or right, and some far or near from the post road, all of which protect this ancient post road. The trunks of the trees are thick and thick, the cypress leaves are lush and green, and the branches are full of charm and postures. They are really like dragon claws preying on prey, like giant arms holding the sky, like dragons flying and phoenixes dancing, like singing and dancing... What do you think? What do you think? It was really picturesque, like a sculpture, like a bonsai, like an old road in the mountains, like the gods in a big temple... We were lucky that day. After a shower, we went on our way. Unexpectedly, the stone road was clean and there were no sticks on our shoes. A little bit of mud. What's even more amazing is that the landscape after the rain is called "beautiful". Water droplets hang on the cypress leaves, and the beads are shining and clear, covering the branches and leaf tips. Walking on the post road, at first glance, it looks like a fairyland on earth, and it seems like a net made of green yarn and beads, hung to cover the sky and the earth. Under the sunlight, each bead is shining brightly, spreading all over the mountains, ridges and roads. When you look around, everything is filled with gold and jade. The lighting scenery on the stage is more like the giant boundless landscape painting. However, it is truly a masterpiece of heaven and earth. When I look at it, the scenery is ancient, beautiful, original, and authentic. It is a trip that I will always remember in my life. I thought that since I had traveled most of the country and had a fun-loving nature, it would have been more than fifty years since I first arrived at Jiange in 1953 before I saw her true face. The children revisited their old place this time, accompanied by children of several years old. They wanted to leave the same impression on them as they had last time, but unfortunately they couldn't do it. Firstly, the children are too young, and secondly, it is impossible to do a hiking trip in a car. I don’t need to say more. Jiange’s tourism authorities may have repeatedly demonstrated that the existing tourist routes in Cuiyunlang are indeed very well designed. Its shortcomings are that it turns a huge landscape into a miniature forest park. It does not show the heroism of Cuiyun Corridor and does not make Zhang Feibai dominate. It can only meet the needs of tourists who only want to see Zhang Feibai. It is impossible for people to understand the "flavor" of that "corridor". In my opinion, the focus of "Jianmen Shu Road Tour" is the "danger" of the mountains and the "ancientness" of the roads and cities. As for the essence, it is the ancient post road covered by ancient cypresses - Cuiyun Corridor. If this project can be developed in a grand manner, it may make the entire "Three Kingdoms Nostalgia" and "Jianmen Ancient Road" tours popular. It will definitely benefit ordinary people along the route from Chengdu to Langzhong, Guangyuan, Jiange and Mianyang. 3. National Day experiences

On National Day, the Municipal Government Square was dressed in festive costumes. People come here from all over for leisure and vacation, and the whole square is filled with laughter and laughter.

A flagpole more than 20 meters high stands in the center of the square, with a five-star red flag fluttering in the wind. There are 640 pots of flowers below the flagpole, tightly surrounding the flagpole. To the north of the square is the Torch Building. In the sky in front of the building, there are six large balloons with banners written on them to celebrate the festival. There is also a five-star red flag flying in the center of the roof of the municipal government office building to the west of the square. The golden national emblem hangs under the flag. There are 25 knife-shaped colorful flags in front of the roof, making the building both solemn and full of festive atmosphere. To the east are the Liaoning Grand Theater, museums and telecommunications buildings. Although no more colorful flags and slogans can be seen from these buildings, their white, blue and green tones appear cleaner than in the past. The south side of the square is arranged into a large three-dimensional flower bed. It consists of three parts: the central flower bed is circular with an outer diameter of 24 meters. In the center of the flower bed is a circular musical fountain with a diameter of 15 meters, which can spray 8 kinds of water shapes according to the changes of the music rhythm. The height of the central water column can reach 15 meters. meters; on the east side of the central flower bed is a three-dimensional flower bed with the words "Celebrating the 55th Anniversary of the Founding of the People's Republic of China" that is 10 meters long, 4 meters wide and 3 meters high. It echoes the central flower bed; on the north and south sides of the central flower bed, there is a flower bed with a diameter of 2 meters each. Meters, 1.8 meters high, a large flower basket composed of flowers.

Many young students rushed to take photos. A male middle school student opened his arms, put his hands on his waist, held his head high, and puffed out his chest. A primary school student wore a school uniform and held a red balloon in his hand. Smiling; there is also a four or five-year-old little boy and a little girl. They are both wearing red striped tops on a white ground and blue jeans. They are holding pinballs and glass balls, standing side by side, with two round little faces. with bright smiles on their faces, maybe they are a twin brother and a girl!

Two young couples pushed a wheelchair, and an old woman with silver hair sat in the wheelchair. The old man's eyes were bright and bright. Although he did not hear what she said, her slight smile was enough to express her happy holiday mood.

This is really a beautiful and lively National Day!
