Where is Hongyanhe Nuclear Power Station?

Hongyanhe Nuclear Power Station is located in Hongyanhe Town, wafangdian city, Dalian City, Liaoning Province.

Liaoning Hongyanhe Nuclear Power Plant is the first nuclear power project approved by the state during the Eleventh Five-Year Plan period, the first standardized large-scale nuclear power project in China with four million kilowatt nuclear power units installed at the same time, and the first nuclear power plant in Northeast China.

After Liaoning Hongyanhe Nuclear Power Station is connected to the grid, it will optimize the power supply structure in Liaoning, realize energy saving and emission reduction, and improve air and water quality. According to reports, compared with thermal power projects of the same scale, after all four units of the first phase of Liaoning Hongyanhe Nuclear Power Plant are put into operation, the consumption of standard coal will be reduced by about 6.5438+million tons, and the emission reduction of carbon dioxide will be 24 million tons, sulfur dioxide will be 230,000 tons, and nitrogen oxides will be 6.5438+05 million tons, which is equivalent to afforestation of 66,000 hectares.
