" Zhao Yuan's eyes widened and he scolded, "What a stupid robber! Don't you even know that Zhao is crazy? " Liu came to admire the brave knight. Hearing this, he didn't agree. Instead, he stood in awe and untied himself. He said, "There are corrupt officials everywhere at home and abroad. We are forced to do this business. Mr. Jinde is here. If he is willing to take a stake and give instructions, I would like to be taught. " So Zhao Yuan said a few words that are crucial to the development and growth of the insurgents: "It is not difficult for me to be a shareholder, but I should not commit adultery and plunder, and I must strictly apply for discipline before I can give orders." Liu Liu readily agreed, so Zhao Yuan went home to pack his soft clothes, took his two younger brothers and recruited more than 500 people to join the rebel army.

Liu Liu listened to Zhao Yuan's advice, seriously rectified military discipline, and only killed corrupt officials, not harming the people. Everywhere it goes, it invites local gentry and celebrities, telling people not to panic and avoid. People say: crazy people are not crazy, but they are quite Confucian.

Zhao Yuan died heroically. After the failure of the rebel army, he was shaved into a monk and ran away. When he fled to Wuchang, he became suspicious because he was drinking and eating meat in a restaurant. He was caught by Wuchang guards, escorted to the capital, and executed by Ling Chi. Emperor Zheng De didn't feel avenged, so he made his saddle out of Zhao Yuan's skin.

Zhao Yuan once wrote a pair of heroic couplets for the rebel army and embroidered them on the banner: "Three thousand tigers in my heart reach the land of secluded swallows in the Ninth Five-Year Plan to reopen troubled times", and put Han, the leader of the Red Scarf Army at the end of the Yuan Dynasty, "three thousand tigers reach the land of secluded swallows; The banner slogan "Dragonfly Ninth Five-Year Plan, the day of reopening the Great Song Dynasty" was changed and used.
