The method of learning electric welding quickly is as follows:

Give priority to practical training: master the welding speed-too fast and the melting temperature is not enough, which is easy to cause defects such as incomplete fusion and poor weld formation; Welders should learn well, mainly in six words: "study hard and practice hard", focusing on hard training. Through hard training, they can master the skills taught by the coach and standardize the basic movements.

3, practice should be concentrated and continuous: three days of fishing and two days of drying nets are not good for welders. The first step is to learn to adjust the current (just know). The problem of adjusting the current is accompanied by the welder's whole career and determines the welding quality. Therefore, this problem must be raised first to attract enough attention of beginners. But you don't need a thorough understanding of the current problems here, as long as you have a preliminary understanding.

The method is to adjust the current according to the weldment and covered electrode diameter. Generally speaking, covered electrode with diameters of 2.5, 3.2 and 4.0 is usually used for plates with weldment thickness of about 5 mm or more. The calculation method of current is covered electrode direct * 40 = welding current. In this way, the current is determined, and you just need to draw a tiger according to the cat in the future.

The second step, the key is the stable control of the hand (just know). Control is the key to the whole welding process. Basic control includes: hand stability, the height of arc length and the inclination of covered electrode. Taking flat welding as an example, the current is 130, and that of covered electrode is 3.2. Hold the welding handle without shaking, and walk in a straight line at a constant speed (this is a basic skill, which can be honed slowly in the future, so you don't have to force it at this time).

During the bar conveying process, the arc length and height (i.e. the distance between the tip of covered electrode and the weldment) should be kept at 2-3mm. The inclination of covered electrode (that is, the included angle between covered electrode and weldment) is always kept at 70-80 degrees. In this way, a smooth and symmetrical qualified weld can be obtained.

Step 3, start welding (try to master it). The simplest welding method and matters needing attention, take current 130 and covered electrode 3.2 as examples. When tapping the weldment with covered electrode in hand, pay attention to covered electrode scraping the weldment obliquely, not perpendicular to the weldment, so as to avoid covered electrode getting stuck and making the arc smooth.
