"Water Ten Articles" pointed out that by the end of 20 17, the existing sludge treatment and disposal facilities have basically completed the transformation of reaching the standard, and by the end of 2020, the harmless treatment and disposal rate of sludge in prefecture-level cities and above will reach over 90%.

In order to speed up sludge treatment, the central government will invest 200 billion yuan in sludge treatment of sewage treatment plants during the "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan" period. With the continuous breakthrough of sludge treatment technology and the promotion of policies, the sludge treatment and disposal industry will soon usher in the blue ocean market.
